  • always wilde and free with this overcool A-Cross harmonica! .. thx

  • 1 Women 2 Motorbikes 3 Music.

  • Copyright is Bob Dylan. Dylan sings this song live on Pennebaker's 'Don't Look Back'. If you watch that version, it will change your life forever. The audience is stunned to deathly silence. I'm sorry but this version is nothing short of awful, in comparison.

  • @TheChrishoughton this is a classic recording from a classic film....top that.

  • filmes que simplesmente deixaram de existir

  • personally i much prefer Bobs version, but its still a great version anyway

  • One of Bobs Best!

  • I seen this film the first day of it's release in theaters. it's lost noting since.timeless perfection.

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53 very cool^^

    some movies(music/games/books are made forever

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53

like it do you?it changend the view of a whole generation socialy very interesting.

  • @ThePeeterd nothing has changed really. the rednecks razzing them in the cafe and the ones in the truck are still around today and still just as stupid. today their conservative voting republicans and members of the tea party who gorge themselfs on rush limbaugh and his underlings. they march in lockstep to boss limbaugh's assertions.not cable of independent thought.like nickleson said in the film "dont tell them their not free because then they'll have to show you how free they really are."

  • god i saw this movie at the drive in

  • Kuwait's right! Beautiful

  • Lot of wisdom in that tune.

  • God, what a song :D

  • Good version. McGuinn applied the "Byrds treatment". Making a Dylan song shorter, slightly faster, ...: i.e. turning it into a kind of pop song.

  • @mrmmark1 sounds good to me ;d

  • dylan write,dylan voice,dylan song

  • such a good song and such a good movie

  • a big sarcastic thank you to the record companies for making it so i can't buy it on mp3 without buying the whole soundtrack

  • @MrJumbolegz Mey man-It's on Amazon..I downloaded it last year on my mp3. It's still there for 99cents. Just the song, not the whole album..

  • @bluevirgo19 thanks but you must have downloaded it at the right time because right now you have to buy the whole album

  • @mrmmark1 no idea what you are talking about^^

  • @6ch6ris6 Maybe he's a Russian speaking in code? :D

  • the vocal progression was Dylan, McGuinn, then Tom Petty. listen

  • mcguinn's impersonation of dylan sounds better than dylan. but never forget, zimmerman wrote it

  • Great harmonica, Great song. I love Dylan but McGuinn did a standup job on this one!

  • ♫ ♬ ♪ oha ♫ ♬ ♪

  • What a powerful version!

  • What a cracking tune, look up billy prestons cover of it-tasty!

  • Dylan's version is the best. Bar none. He wrote the focking thing. Everyone else is just imitating him. McGuinn sounds the most like Dylan. T hat's why this is a good recording. It's true to the original.

This is late 60s rap music. Dig it.

  • @DougalPE Its a better version sorry Dylan freak.

  • TOP COVER

  • @abombinreverse yeah so many artists have been influenced by dylan.

it is weired but i dont really like dylan's songs. but i love the covered songs by over artists ^^

  • @6ch6ris6 yeah it is strange because I only like Dylan's songs when Bob sings them. However, the Byrds usually do justice to his songs.

  • @ yeahsee33

How you could be confused is beyond me. They sound completely different. :(

  • What a song that expresses freedom!

  • R.I.P Denis

  • Yeahsee---- The original song is from Dylan

  • Nice job!

  • Great cover of

  • i really like this cover

  • great version great harmonica too!!

  • I never knew Mcguinn sung this. For some reason everytime I watched Easy Rider I thought it was Donovan or Dylan.

  • cool movie

  • because the original version is from dylan. maybe you heared that first and watched the movie later. i dont know xD

  • You may be right. I could've been high and heard Mcguinn and had it in my mind it was Dylan. When I watch Easy Rider i'm rarely sober.

  • Mcguinn covered it, he does sound like Dylan though.

  • @yeahsee33 well could not be bob the voice is to different, but me too i told was donovan

  • Totally awesome, I love the lyrics. This goes father than the amount of the song shown on Easy Rider. Good stuff!

  • Terence Trent D'Arby's version is, so far, the best version I've heard, but this one is really appropriate for the time and the film.

  • can you show me that version?

  • @romanac shut up...terence trent..what a joke

  • i think that dylans version is alot more tense and prophetic, i like dylan's better

but the chorus sounds better in this version

  • ive been searching for a copy of roger mcguinn version for years i am so happy!

thank you thank you a masterpiece

  • While Dylans song is an absolute lyrical masterpiece this version really has the edge that really creates the magic.

  • on of my favriote movies

  • Thanks for posting. The most powerful song and movie synchronicity of the 20th century.

  • i think this is the best version, because it is faster and the atmosphere is more intense than dylan's original.

  • definitely, his voice gives real life to the lyrics (which are, to Dylan's credit, amazing), plus the harmonica really adds that something special :)

  • i think the harmonica adds this feeling of freedom to the song. or i just have watched the movie too often ;)
