@DrOctave1 "noise is by definition derived from a random signal." This is noise with knobs. I believe someone intended these machines be made for serious music productions.
@RoboticusMusic being that i have 129 vids on here I am sure there are more than 20 that are actually musical in a sence. but not structured to perfection as this is all modular analog noise as you say.
@RoboticusMusic I don't want to use a computer. Not that I can't I have ableton 8 full version. This is not my goal with this modular. The reason I left the computer and all that realm of music making behind is that it is clinical and stale. I like the modular for the organic nature of the sounds and the way they grow. a computer just does not do it the same. and a mouse and KB is just not as fun as 1000 knobs and lights.
@RoboticusMusic yeah sure dude, and the unicorn here in the garden spits gold pellets and farts wobbly rainbows on the beat too. I'll tell you another thing: most music made with Ableton sounds the same, because ppl. use loops and have the software decide where to put them (perfectly in sync - boooooooooorrrinngggggggg)
@DrOctave1 nice video. the ringmodded/waveshaped sounds into the reverb are nice. IMHO you could do more with the subtle high pitched sounds, leave out the lower bombastic ones.
thing is, they're both tools, but different. you should try a physical modular once (any kind), it's fun, and the whole experience is different. what I'm trying to say is that you come up with other ideas than sitting behind a computer screen. :-)
@raizumichin What is objective about better? Any good producer knows how to make good music. Those who fail at music think there is only science and logic behind what is beauty.
@RoboticusMusic I do, actually. A bunch of animals, predominantly rabbits, actually eat their own feces as a part of their digestive system. That doesn't really help your joke though, I'm curious were you're going with this.
@RoboticusMusic I will, figuratively, if you keep milking such a poor joke. You had some good things going with your opening routine. Too bad it's wasted, you probably borrowed it from a far better troll, right?
@RoboticusMusic Yep, you definitely stole your first string of jokes from someone far better than you. And apparently you don't mean what figuratively means.
@hawklord2112 I remember when i saw peoples setups like mine when i had only 6u of euro i was in awe. but it kinda wears off after a while and you get down to makeing beats. but i still do look at my setup and think how lucky i am to have all the equiptment. thanks for being a loyal fan and pier.
Sounds real to me!
Nice :-)

Do you plan on making any real music in the future?

@RoboticusMusic i make music all the time real or fake i don't know what that means

@DrOctave1 learn to use ableton. Always remember, if a computer can do it better its not art.

@DrOctave1 True, but you could sample your jams, slice to midi and make "listenable" music out of analogue sounds.
RoboticusMusic 7 months ago
@RoboticusMusic You think a computer can do this better? Show me.
neolojism 5 months ago
@neolojism You're kidding. There are some vst's that can literally do this in one click. It's call randomize patch.

@reptilespantoso Nope.

@RoboticusMusic :-) well there's good stuff obviously.

@reptilespantoso Nope. sampling analog sounds with ableton produces better music than messing with random knobs.

@RoboticusMusic eeeh.. I think you're joking

@RoboticusMusic Oh, of course. Some music is just objectively "better, inorite?

@raizumichin What is objective about better? Any good producer knows how to make good music. Those who fail at music think there is only science and logic behind what is beauty.
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic And yet you're making the argument that one process of making music is "better" than the other, as if it was a science.
raizumichin 4 months ago
@raizumichin It is completely math. Yes, a science. You argue that there are no wrong ways of making music worth listening to?
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic When everyone agrees on what's worth listening to, then I'll agree there's a right way to do it. Otherwise, no.
Nice flip-flop on the science part, btw.

@raizumichin You deny that you may be one of these "wrong" brains?
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic What wrong brains?
raizumichin 4 months ago
@raizumichin As in one of those hipster brains that pretends what they do doesn't suck out loud.

@RoboticusMusic Sucks according to who?
raizumichin 4 months ago
@raizumichin Natural design.
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic So you deny that your brain might be the "wrong" one?
raizumichin 4 months ago
@raizumichin Yes. Evolutionary progress dictate's technological superiority is "right".

@RoboticusMusic Oh man, you had me there for a while. Your taste is the evolutionary correct one. Well played.

@raizumichin Ah so you're a rabbit.
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic Oh come on. You were on such a good streak, why ruin it with a simple "no you"-joke? Bad form, man.
raizumichin 4 months ago
@raizumichin No you.
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic I guess you were striking above your par with the "my taste is better than yours"-routine then, because this is just sad.

@RoboticusMusic I do actually. I cry for the future of comedy. You were on such a trolling run, why ruin it so badly?
raizumichin 4 months ago
@raizumichin You cry :D
RoboticusMusic 4 months ago
@RoboticusMusic No, not again. Such a simple joke isn't worth using twice. Come on, I know you're at least better than that.

@raizumichin So you cry? :D
