The Iraqi war was conjured up in Pres. Bush's mind even before 9-11. It was an invasion to spread democracy. That is a reason he gave, along with Saddam having WMD, which wasn't true. A militia is plenty different from the military. The militia is an irregular paramilitary band. Basically they're guerrilla fighters here on the homeland in order to stop both foreign and domestic enemies. The Iraqi war was conjured up in Pres. Bush's mind even before 9-11. It was an invasion to spread democracy. That is a reason he gave, along with Saddam having WMD, which wasn't true. Cheney made alot of money on this war, as did others. I pray that the loss of troops will not prove to have been in vain and that the Iraqe's will value the freedom that is now possible for them. It doesn't seem likely to me cuz the muslims fight between the sects as to who should have power. I hope I'm wrong.

A militia is plenty different from the military. The militia is an irregular paramilitary band. Basically they're guerrilla fighters here on the homeland in order to stop both foreign and domestic enemies.
