  • many thanks for the info...

  • Hi,

please can you tell me what rack units you have your synths placed on?

they are exactly what im looking for but dont know where to get them

  • @fakfork It's a simple triangular keyboard stand, you can find it in any music store. In this picture you can see it better: ww . frankjacobs.nl/vintsynth/cs1x.jpg

  • Hi,

  • perfect filters for that price and era...

  • Cool!

  • @netgemiplayer: I can say that day is now... :)

  • got one of these for sale in the uk if anyone's interested!

  • despite everything going digital nowadays i think there will come a day when people will tire of its fakeness and unnaturalness and return to the warmth and genuineness of old analogue equipment

  • that happened already .. things "went digital " many years ago over inflated prices on ebay reflect this and have for many years ..

  • yeah, analog rules, digital sux!!!

  • @netgemiplayer Yes, and record sales will eventually beat out downloadable MP3s. I hope you know i'm joking.

  • Wonderful sounding keyboard for magical music.

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!! The Jarre patch sounds quite similar!!! I have also a Polysix. Can you say to me what is the configuration of the paramaters for to achieve this sound????

  • The first thing played sounds like some of the soundtrack from A Clockwork Orange.

  • great start with Jean Michel Jarre sound

    I love this instrument....

  • is the poly 61 is a digital synth then?

  • This is where Japanese Band polysics got there name from, Korg Polysix

  • check out the track made in 1985 with overdub rec... so great:

    clio - faces

  • Good grief, nudist0885! You're right. I missed it initially. at 25secs this guy goes to change the patch hesitates briefly over the patch selector button #6 and then hits the tape enable button and Voila! Instant patch change! How-on-earth? I simply must try that with MY polysix! Awesome catch Nudi!

  • On my Polysix that button says 'manual' and that's exactly what you see and hear. In the first 25 seconds I use pre-programmed patches, after hitting that button I tweak around.

  • marveleous keyboard!!!

  • The first song is JEAN MICHEL JARRE right?

I love to just listen to it.

    THANKS!

  • Yeah, it's Oxygène Part 2.

  • Beautiful synth-warm and analog sound.

  • Is that a Poly 800 right above the Polysix?

  • No, that's a Roland Juno 2. But I do have a Poly 800.

  • Poly 61 and polysix are good confident synths for live gig settings/environments....yeah,the poly 61 is the poor man's polsix-personally I prefer the sound and 'feel' of the '61 oddly.perhaps more user friendly. MW.

  • I really loved oxygene II at the beginning.. very good! and in the video I can see a juno 2.. i have it and i love it! great synth too! i'll probably get a poly61, sort of a poor's man polysix :D

  • that's not only tape enable but Manual setting of pots aswell

  • cool sound for a second @ 01:33-01:34..lol

  • At 25 seconds/////How did you change the sound by pushing the tape enable button?
