  • Wow. That post sure can wail on the saxophone (would have been nice if the camera had been moved). Nice to both see and hear Topsy, I've only heard her sing on "Riverwalk" before.

  • Anbefaler alle som kan å ta en tur til Kulturhuset for å se Magnolia Jazz Band. Jeg vet ikke når,men jeg vet at Nord-Aurdal Sanglag skal være med. Har sett dem en gang alene på Kulturhuset, og en gang sammen med diverse kor i Tingnes kirke. Begge deler var fantastisk. Disse gutta vet hva de driver med, så de er absolutt verdt inngangsbilletten...

  • Lovely to hear it played so mellow. I would like the singer to put a bit more feeling in it though.

    Aretha Franklin sang it with a swinging, jazzy inflection. Dinah Washington actually took a belting, Etta James approach. (she did the same with _Baby Get Lost_) You might like both.

  • the problem with so many people is that they liste with their eyes. Topsy Chapman is not very animated but if you can't feel what she's doing you have a hole in your soul. Try closing your eyes and listening to her sing.
