If you like that get a hybrid but if you want power and you can afford it than you shouldn't care about that stuff. so quit limiting performance with good gas miliage and give me a car that makes me shit my pants and say slow the fuck down

it never limits performance. porsches DFI and Nissan's VVEL improves fuel efficiency *AND* improves throttle response and power. Fuel efficiency has always been the principle of increasing power. I don't understand why you have such contridiction about this win-win feature.

Cars in the old days were so much more simple, light and fun. take the M3 for example, they used to be small, nimble and affordable. The newest M3 tries to be all rounders and loaded with unneccessary vehicle settings and gizmos for you to get comfy and that spoils so much. My uncle was in canada driving a super old prelude, no power steering, air-con or power seats. but that light car entertained him on the street more than blasting his 911 on the highway.
