@kenzothecat most people who comment on here arent martial artists. They watch MMA, watch kung fu movies, or they trained for a few months and they think they know everything. Traditional martial arts often brainwash people into thinking that one way is the best way. MMA in itself is becoming a single minded martial art. Jeet Kune Do does away with this. Use what works for YOU. A true martial artist would not talk down to his peer, but instead seek to help him or learn from him

He did the technique several different ways each time. The first time his thumb was in danger of snapping from the downward force of the strike. The fourth time he blocked his own knee strike with his forearm while losing control of the weapon.  Not only is the technique inconsistent, but it seems dangerous as well. Looks like it has a high chance of failure.

The thing about taking the tip of the bat, they have no control of the bat, hit them with their own bat thing its completely SHIT! The time when you are trying to hit them with their own bat when they are still holding it in their hands, they going to hit you, take it back and kill you!
