But BJ Penn was obivously robbed in the first fight against GSP.Thats a fact. He did more damage and completly destroyed GSPs face.

In the 2nd fight GSP cheated with vaseline and won only thanks to his phisical adventage. He was lying on BJ Penn all da time and was obivously scared to accept stand up in their 2nd fight.

You. Are. Very. Uneducated on this sport. 1. the first fight BJ EYE GOUGED multiple times and scratched GSP's face up, not by blows. 2. GSP DID NOT CHEAT WITH VASELINE. Thats a common mistake by haters. He was checked by the NSAC (Nevada's athletic commission) and found clean. And he was beating the Hawaiin out of BJ the 2nd time around.

BJ destroyed his nose with uppercuts and completly outclassed GSP in the stand up. Many mma journalists expressed disagreement about the decision after this fight. BJ did more damage and thats it.

Why would Fitch/Thiago 2 happen? There was nothing controversial, close or exciting about that fight. As long as Fitch keeps winning, his quality of opponents will keep getting better and he will not fight a guy who he easily dismissed for a second time for a long time.
I do agree that GSP/Silva makes sense since nobody really seems to have anyone in their divisions who can touch them.

AND Fitch wants another shot at GSP anyway. Why not face Thiago as a stepping stone to prove his worth to fight GSP again? It DOES make sense. Granted, he beat him the 1st time. GSP is boring? He is the most rounded in MMA, the best wrestler and if you knew anything about grappling his technique would put you in awe.
Now that the UFC 100 is over lets go over the resutls:
1. GSP won every round
2. Thiago face is a mess
3. GSP also out struck Alves including a superman punch that knocked him down in the same way he did to fitch.
4. GSP pulled a abductor ligament and still pulled out a win.

Keep in mind that the only reason he didn't finish Fitch and Alves was because of how great of fighters they are. Fitch could've been knocked out on at least a couple of occasions but he toughed it out. Alves could've been submitted with rear naked chokes a couple of times but he was a beast on the ground. He really gave GSP some fits at times. Nobody expected GSP to KO him on their feet. I would say it was just a matter of the other guys being good more than GSP being "boring."

It's about beating your opponent, period. And Bradman, yes he could have finished Fitch and he DID tough it out. But Alves... You can see GSP work less after the 3rd. Groin Injury is NO joke, witout it he might have made the ref stop it. He didn't even show expression til after the fight, very krazy composure.
