Not exactly, 1 barrel break, out of 5 guys shooting full auto in that clip.
If you plan to blame barrel breaks on the gun then the entire Dye and Eclipse line suck.
We set out to demonstrate the markers and i think we did that over multiple videos. We arnt paid by tippmann and have no reason to edit out footage. Rec grade paint is going to break in the barrel from time to time.
Interestingly enough after a whole season of xball i can say that my phenom never choped
@Bgirltrixx It was a break, not a chop. To quote from earlier in the comments:
"None of these actually chopped a ball through 6+ cases. It was a barrel break because we used low grade, non-winterized paint. Hopefully get some DXS Frostbite soon."
Plus, this vid wasn't done by Tippmann, they just linked to it.
I love my Phenom. I have a 14" Lapco Big Shoot barrel and this gun shoots amazing. I haven't broke one ball in 4 games of playing so about 4000 rounds.
I have this gun with sd mp5 shroud and holographic sight. It handles amazing, and is incredably accurate. Even with shit paint. I scopped one ball out of about 500 rounds bebase it was broken out of the bag when I loaded it.
@GreasyPsycho barrel breaks normally dont go far, Chops go a long distance because it is right in front of the air flow barrel breaks happen after the gun shoots normally
well considering that there is no way the gun will TRULY chop with the cyclone feed, I don't know how you could be so certain it's a true chop. very few paintball guns ACTUALLY produce a true chop nowadays.
all guns will shoot just as far (unless you have a flatline or apex) as any other gun accuracy yes from what i cane tell the phenom seems extremely accurate but also ive seen a lot of drop off problems which is to be expected seeing as this is tippmanns first spool and i do expect them to update the board for first shot drop off (they might have it now but i dont think so)
no its a chop barrel breaks dont spit paint that far out, a chop is closer to the air coming from the bolt so it is gunna come farther than a barrel break.
Damn looks like it shoots really nice like 0:56, and also i hear its a whole lot better on air, with my x7 i can only shoot about 1 pod and then the velocity starts to decrease (with a 20 ounce tank) i duno if i need to do adjustments or what, but it is NOT good on air.

LOL, I did not make it down for the trial, so cannot say, but the general impression I got was the boys were impressed with the stock barrel but the after markets were a bit better.
@TrollPrime
You've obviously never heard of the Tippinators. ;D

@Bgirltrixx Any paintball gun is going to chop a ball. Period. Showing imperfections is just being truthful to the customer base, no?

@GreasyPsycho It doesnt have to be a true chop i mean the paintball could have been a werid shape doesnt mean it wont chop tho.
