I have a problem with the game. It says to put all SRB2 files in my media/blkdev/srb2wii/ folder

Just tested on my Wii. Glad it works. One quetion, though. I wanted to delete this to make space on my SD card for something, and the I cant delete the .srb2 folder because the .ssg files inside of it prevents me from deleting the folder. Is there any way to stop the .ssg file from being created?

hey whenever i try to start up, it says "Starting up SRB2Wii..." , but then all the words dissapear, leaving behind "Returning to Homebrew Channel..."

I'm afraid not, not only does the SRB2Wii Linux distro not support online yet (its on the TODO list) but the netcode in SRB2 is jumpy at best and has endianness issues (on PowerPC) and compiler issues with other builds of SRB2 so netgaming will not be working for a while.

I can't get the game to start up it's asking me for SRB2 files to be put in the data folder i don't know what files ? Also I'm not sure if i set it up right either.

well.. im still getting the message, "Archive is corrupt".

..one problem..

I keep trying to download the Binary (IOS version, for the Homebrew Channel..

But after I download it to my desktop, and try to extract from the rar.. it tells me the Archive is corrupt.

it has a .tar at the end.. So I changed it to .rar... then I extracted something from it.

I'm use to using .dols and stuff for the homebrew channel. Do I just drag the srb2wii-iso folder into my apps folder?

That's because its a bzip2-compressed tarball, not a RAR archive...>_>

WinRAR can extract tarballs.

I'll give it another try.. Whats the benefit of having it compressed this way?

Much better compression ratio....I do what I can to minimise SRB2Wii's impact as much as possible, if you aren't smart enough to extract it properly, its not my problem
