Also Okinawa dialect (RyuukyuuGo) is not ancient Japanese. Even whether Okinawa dialect is a dialect of Japanese is still an open topic - they are just similar in grammar but use totally different in vocabulary. Before 17th century Okinawa has nothing to do with Japan.
