  • wow i never heard this version before..

  • This is a great performance of Pushit. I am guessing Tool have not played the song like this in some time. I am glad that this version is easy to get a hold of. I only own the CD of Salival. I had a chance to get the VHS and original box with slipcase. Unfortuneatly passed up getting the VHS and box. Oh well. Amazing how expensive sealed copies of Salival go for on Amazon. I mean paying 400-500 dollars on a set is fucking crazy as hell.

  • you dont know how many times I saw the gap between me and her, between me and myself

  • @0uterHeaven0 ahhh. me too

  • One of the best songs ever written.

    Pushed you away, my dear.

  • i enjoy this version more.

  • brilliance.

  • so salival. those are just songs theyve already done but just. different?

  • all of them except the hidden track, the peach cover , you lied, and the zepplin cover no quarter

  • @parasiticlittletick There are four or five live songs, and like she said No Quarter covered, Maynard's Dick, and LAMC

  • What he is saying at the begin

we need your help.... we need your help and prommision

  • the talking in the best part..to me. it shows the Intention behind the modification to the song..the talking in an invitation..to an experience. This wasnt just a concert..listen to how he says.. "permission"...these people (tool) are intelligent..they dont do shit just to do it..there is meaning behind it...the talking.

  • i definitely agree. the significance of the beginning is overwhelming. The fact that maynard actually asks permission from his fans to redo a song, to me, show's their worth as artists, and show's the brightness, and openmindedness of the people who respond. This will remain my all time favorite Tool song.

  • Absolutely love the performance. But I remember a show where Maynard merely said "Denver" (or wherever I was at) and was met with screaming cheers and applause and he just shrugged. That initial narrative definitely sets the tone, but I doubt it's going to... what, engage people who aren't already on board.

  • @TOOLGODDESSTT This is one of the best live performances that any band has ever done. Guaranteed! From Third Eye, to Part of Me, to Push it. I'm simply blown away and I've owned this album for years. This song completely sends chills up my spine almost every time I listen to it. I don't know of any other band that has that effect on me.

  • @Darpinion Totally agree with you!

  • @PearlJammer07 Right on brother. Pearl Jam is another great band of the 90s. The Golden Age of rock as far as I'm concerned.

  • I really like the talking as well. It sets the whole mood of the song. After listening to just that little part of Maynard talking, I just closed my eyes and drifted into the song. It's totally different experience than simply listening to the chords and structure of the song...

  • The talking is definitely the most emphasized part of the song. It just sets the mood in a way that I feel that has never been expressed in a Tool song. Much the less how the song slowly progesses faster and faster. Will always be my favorite.

  • Favorite version of the song, I don't like the talking at the beginning I just want to hurry and get lost in this song
