Great drumming here and on the "Falling..." album, Craig. I'm glad I got this opportunity to let you know how much I enjoy the feeling and grooves you create on the kit on the tunes. I love this band and as a bassist have enjoyed playing along to the album over the past years. All the best to you!
Saw them at the Keswick on this tour and got to meet Mary and the band after the show. The set included just about every song from Falling Father In. Only a short time before the show, I heard OP for the first time. What an experience! I'll never forget.
Wish I had been to this show as well. It must have been fantastic to see OP in a place the size of the TLA. Thats interesting, I dont remember the TLA having seats in 96.
Ive been occassionally searching/googling/checking youtube etc... for OP live for 10 years.... hoping one day someone would post Bury My Lovely as I remember seeing it when i was in the States for a while in the 90's. You have no idea how happy u made me by uploading that and ofcourse this!!! Thank you so VERY much. I so wish Mary stuck it out with them.. sigh ! Epic epic quality band on every level.
I've got this DVD. OP was great live. Very tight. Even when they toured with the original five they were great. But this tour with additional drums, bass and guitar was really awesome.
@Meadowlark76 Hey! Well, it looks like this song was the beginning of the set. If you look carefully, Mary is wearing monitor earpieces ... Throughout the song she is fiddling with the receiver on her back ... and occasionally through the piece she is gesturing, it seems, to the sound person on the wing of the stage. She seems to be gesturing for him/her to lower the audio level in the monitor. Just a guess, on my part!

Also notice Julian Coryell on the electric.
I would NOT have wanted to be the person on monitors after that show.
It's obvious that Mary's was painfully loud. At some point in one of the later songs she sort of raises a fist to him like "I'm going to clobber you"

I would love to hear Mary Fahl sing with Peter Gabriel.

@chiefredbottom
she does have a Gabriel-esque way of performing, doesn't she. Both are very theatrical in presentation.
