The variety and buildup in your voice won me over... I had been skeptical you could do (and re-do) the chorus in spoken voice, but you did it. Much respect to you, sir!

Thank you very much for the resounding criticism, and I'm glad that I was able to adapt the song structure to the spoken word style. To be honest, it took me a couple tries to get that chorus to work satisfactorily.

As for the performance and voice, I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work in a variety theatrical productions where I learned the idea of build-up and varying the tempo.

Yes, I'm glad you loved it! :) That talking comes from a lot of time in theater, ^_^ That one part in the lyrics kept coming back because it was my adaptation of her hook, so I kept the same structure as her song maintained. Thank you again, both for watching and for recommending it to others! ^_^
