video is pathetic ! you miss the plate your bending on the bumper bracket and hit the slider rail twice, and do you seriously have to swing that hard to bend a peice of steel that thin? .. ive been a licensed truck trailer mechanic for a long time and this is pathetic . If your going to make a trailer repair video why dont you make a video changing pivot bushings or plumbing an air system . for the guy that says the welding machine sounds good you clearly didnt clean the material properly
@johnfz1 It definitely is a hard way to make a living. The only thing keeping me on the job is the satisfaction I get from solving problems. Still, if I find a decent job doing something else, I'll be gone like the wind.
@delacerdaa I wouldn't recommend this line of work. It's a dirty, smelly, thankless job that doesn't pay as well as you might think. The public looks at mechanics as crooks, but they'll come running when they need help and be your best pal. Until you hand them a bill that is. Then you're a crook trying to screw them out of their money. They don't care that you had to get out of bed at 02:00 am and drive to hell knows where only to crawl around under their poorly maintained greasy truck.

@dman3602 When you get around to uploading your own videos, I look forward to seeing how it should be done. Thanks for the comment.

Yes indeed! Good job!!

LOL, there was a few missed swings. But I hit more times than I missed, so that's positive production I think ;) Thanks for the comment.

My hammer is my friend )

LOL, the hammer test is the best test. Sometimes, in my line of work, the only tool that will work is a bigger hammer. Great stress reliever.
