Even if he is not Madara he could control sharingan and the rinnegan. He also have the power to control the Kyuubii. I also recall the moment when Tobi told Naruto the story about Rikkudo Sennin and his sons.think that the masked man is the elder son of Sage of the SIx Paths, the one with sage eyes. I am now very sure that Tobi is one of the Rikudoo sons who possessed the rinnegan. The elder brother who wants to wield power of course. I beilieve the younger brother won the battle and make the new world with love. Tobi remained mysterious and monitor until love no longer has any effect on the peace of the world.
Kishimoto will show us the Rikudo Sennin through Tobi flashbacks like any villain flashbacks.

-Guess why tobi and kakashi can send objects into different dimensions? THEY ARE THE SAME SHARINGANS! Remember when obito gave kakashi his left eye? That is why obito is tobi. @UnHaUnTeDrEaMzZ This is actually a good theory. Well lets make clear that Tobi is a one of Madaras permanent clones. But its not Madaras body which means he used another body. Now that could be Obito. As the first meeting of Tobi we see as a grown up when kakashi is as well a grown up when Tobi attacks the hidden leaf village. We have only seen Tobis right part of the face and it looked very old but it could be coz it was crushed under the rocks. :)

One question that cracks up every theory... Why is Tobi STILL wearing a mask even tho himself said that he's no one now after he got busted lying about him being Madara. Would the sons of the Sage of six Paths wear a mask? It's not like people knew how one of them looked like. The Mask is there to hide his identity, we have seen Tobis face somewhere and it's a face that people must know about hence he showed himself only to a few people like Kisame, Sasuke (well he tried) and the one Jinchuriki.

I have a theory about Tobi's true identity. As probably most of us who read manga recently knows that the masked man is not Uchiha Madara. Even if he is not Madara he could control sharingan and the rinnegan. He also have the power to control the Kyuubii. I also recall the moment when Tobi told Naruto the story about Rikkudo Sennin and his sons.think that the masked man is the elder son of Sage of the SIx Paths, the one with sage eyes. He is believed to be the first Uchiha.

Madara had parts from one dead body and filled it with Hashirmas cells. As we can see when fighting danzos henchmens when he cuts his right arm off. Its the same as white zetsus.
