I have a lot of experience in mario kart wii (and I dont mean to boast but I'm in a clan and the whole kaboodle) Anyway a fault is depending on the difference of vr it's possible that even sometimes, you lose vr due to the fact u even came 3rd. I have about 9000vr and I have been linked to people with 5000. I have come second in that room and lost vr. :(

Indeed, MKWii is an awesome experience, both on and offline. The only quarrels I have with the game is that the CPU can be very cheap with the items sometimes and of course, for the people who hack the game during WiFi to win. Other than those, it's an awesome game, and hard to put down.

I'm also particularly glad Nintendo put Delfino Square from the DS in this one...it was my favorite track on the DS. ^_^

2:10 is not true. The scoring system is based around the other players points. For example if you came 3rd with 9000 points and the persorn in 2nd has 4000 points you will lose alot of points.

the wii version is random in terms of the speed on wifi. it's 100, 150, or mirror. it's never 50 tho. as far as i know.

have fun i got my wii in february and love it, just got mario kart too, best 2 games to advise to you would be super smash bros brawl and super mario galxy, both are very amazing. Also try to set up an online network for your computer if you dont already have one because like he said in the review playing one player versus cpu gets old while online is always fun. :)

Definitely not worth $50, I recognized almost all the tracks & it makes me mad that they took tracks from so many past mario kart games that have already been played out. $50 for a recycled game basically! IMO i would rather have bought a used one later on, I wish I had gone with a different game! Don't get me wrong, its still fun but it would be more fun if all the tracks were new/different! I'm very disappointed :(

Actually it has the same amount of new tracks as the old ones while having great redone old tracks too. I definitely recommend this because it doesn't have the usual 16 tracks.

i think that it would be cooler if if they had a course builder mode. build ur own courses with maybe a time limit limit. u could unlokc if if u beat EVERY SINGLE thing in the game and they could be all stored into a cup called course build cup or whatever and u can go onto wifi and vote for ur course for everyone to play on and submit it to nintendo and friends just like brawl.

Well it's fun to start with but it just becomes really boring REALLY fast so i wouldn't recommend it if your looking for a long lasting game, which i don't know a person who just gets a game to play it once.
