yeah it DID follow the storyline, any researcher like me knows that Chun Li loses her father at the hands of Bison, she gets involved with Interpol, and she goes out for justice, but isn't in the 1ST street fighter tourney, where Sagat was the final boss.... Plot was just weak from everything else. The unnecessary daughter subplot, and the useless placing of C Viper and Charlie.... Like I said, Chun Li's legend isn't hard to portray

Or like how the licker was the main enemy in the resident evil movie when he's not even a major villain stupid shit like that lol
well resident evil's mess up was just removing ALL the characters period and just slapping Jill in the sequel to try to appease us. lol at least Chun Li was in the games instead of mercenary misfits named Rain and Alice like in Resident Evil. lol You're right though, they just never learn.....
i don't know if you know this but in a promotional newspaper for resident evil 2 apocolypse it says on there that jill got fired from the rpd after her "partner" leon s kenny was murdered. so i guess we will never see him n a film lol sucks

what really grinds my gears in game to film adaptation is the inclusion of new characters when there is a plethora of characters in the original source material.
you guys are just haters. the title alone shouldve tipped you off that this was only going to be about chun li. think of this movie as a prequel to the main event. and if thats what youre after, you guys basically got ripped off. because think of it as ordering the GSP vs BJ Penn 2 on pay per view and then after watching all the stupid fights, GSP's fight gets cancelled.
doom was horrible, it seems the only thing this director knows how to do is make people laugh unintentionally in his films, and i haven't seen the legend of chun li, lol, capcom just gave all the fans a big f u, because if they really cared they wouldn't let this shit fly.

Hitman was the best video game movie ever, followed by Resident Evil Degeneration (best animated film ever made). Third would be the Tomb Raider movies. I'd like to see a live action Call of Duty and more animated Resident Evils, the live action ResE sucked, though the chick who plays Jill in Apocalypse was like H. O. T. HAWT!!!

From the way it looked in some of the clips of scenes...It looked like it was trying to let people imagine WAY too much.
Seriously, some REAL martial art moves. Like a flying tornado kick, guile's spinning back fist AKA Hurricane, and Chunli's must actually look strong. Particularly her legs.

Ok you guy's really should first Watch Street Fighter 2V the TV series it only had 1 season.

I don't think fans hated the idea of Chun Li being the star, I think it's the messy plot that needed some more polish, and switching Chris Klein with a talented blonde who looks like Charlie Nash, like Paul Walker, and increase Vega's screentime, and you're golden....Still, FAR better than the JCVD film. That one was crap from minute one to the end....

yeah it DID follow the storyline, any researcher like me knows that Chun Li loses her father at the hands of Bison, she gets involved with Interpol, and she goes out for justice, but isn't in the 1ST street fighter tourney, where Sagat was the final boss.... Plot was just weak from everything else. The unnecessary daughter subplot, and the useless placing of C Viper and Charlie.... Like I said, Chun Li's legend isn't hard to portray
