I don't quite understand his joke about avoiding Rumi. I've read Terence and heard most all of his lectures, and Rumi basically says the exact same things as him, albeit in a Persian-mystic style. I think Terence was perhaps giving a low blow to some New Age trend and trying to separate his words from that ethos. In any case, Rumi is the shit.

hey guys, if you want to see the factor that Dennis thinks (and terence undoubtedly would agree if he was alive) is the most likely cause for our mysteriously large brains (and our current state of insanity due to separation from it) look up Tony Wrights book Left in The Dark..Dennis, terences brother, wrote a nice forward for it. I think psilocybin came into play after our brains expanded in size. Look into this!!! support this dude. there are .pdfs on scribd if you can't afford the book
