Hardware now is laid out better for multi gpu configs i remember all of the headaches of buying cards and motherboards where the card would hit the sata connectors or wouldn't clear the memory slots glad those days are over now all you have to make sure of is will it fit in the case
Question, in you have installed the reservoir under the radiator level when you open the reservoir top cap for add more coolant all that fluid on the loops dont coming down and make a overflow mess?
Well technically his quad core would be equivalent to a single 14ghz core as long at the program is written well and utilizes all 4 cores. But that doesn't mean its a 14ghz processor...
I Score 14500 on a 300$ rig I put together , AMD x4 635 @ 3.5 and 4gb 667 ram and 8800 Ultra ,... Since it's Summer time , I'm interested in only spending money on my Motorcycle and Boat ,So.... I can get a 9800gx2 for dirt cheap, Does anybody think I should sell the Ultra and go with the 9800gx2 , lot's of Micro stutter? , Problems etc ,Big increase in Performance?....
im having an 9800 GX2 as well, and its getting 96 degrees hot.. Isnt this a bit to hot? Ive seen the card got hot, but 96 degrees is OVER hot I think. Any tips pl0x
ur computer looks sick with the water cooling.. i just bought water cooling for my i5 and i love it and the temps dropped a lot. i got mine over clocked from 2.66ghz to 3.5ghz. but ur water cooling tubs look fucking sick man..very nice
it is 3.5 ghz on quad core that means that the task is distributed to 4 cores (making the task quicker) but they all use the 3.5ghz speed , they dont have theyr own speed , thats the speed that is used by the cores in some amount (depending on process)
Nice build, but thinking that you get 14 Ghz out of a quadcore 3.5 is an epic fail. you get 3.5 Ghz, but a 64-bit application that supports four procs (or virtual procs in this case) can pass multiple threads to the cores. It's still only 3.5 Ghz though.
@wojstaszek listen i don't come from africa, and i'm 14 years and i make my own computers. my question is: if its a quad core for example and its 2 ghz is it 0.5 ghz each core or each core 2ghz ???? get it ?
@woodshuh Lol, yeah i read all of your posts and the ones with people saying you are wrong. So yeah i "troll" and correct people who think they know what they are talking about. So if you get mad because your wrong, than thats a personal problem.
@dos195 Get rid of the whole damn pump/resivor combo. Closed loop systems don't evaporate as fast, and let air escape though a fill valve when you open it. I had that pump/resivor combo, it leaks around the pump unless you seal it with superglue. It also leaks around the fill port. Get a T and a fill valve and go closed loop. No more bubbles I cannot even tell that my system is running because when you get all the bubbles out it is wisper quiet.
Water cooling is cooling with water transferring through the pipes. Liquid cooling USUALLY means using non-water liquid instead (for better heat transfer, etc).
Many liquid cooling systems use non-conductive liquid which means if you have a leak it shouldn't damage your system.
wow u actually think that equals 14ghz, u must be a fucking n00b!!! thats like saying a 4 cylinder car with a redline of 8000 rpm actually has a redline of 32,000 rpm, which is obviously untrue you fucking idiot. its called a fucking frequency for a reason. that would also be like saying if you got a bunch radio transmitters it would somehow increase the frequency, turning radio waves into gamma rays, which is also UNTRUE! please delete that segment from your n00b video!!!
also if you were going to measure the frequency in such a way you would multiply 3.5ghz by the total amount of transistors in your cpu. In your case your Q6600 has 582 million so your STUPID frequency would be 2 × 10^18 hz!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terrible, you really need to do your homework before releasing videos of bad home builds.
I think if you look it up air really hampers the cooling process, the liquid (hopefully not water, or cooking oil) has a better heat transfer than air. Kind of the whole point of LIQUID COOLING!

say its quad core
its .875ghz per core
they just work together to produce that speed
once the heat issue is solved they will have it at like 4ghz per core and with quad core that would be 16ghz

LOL!!
Why would you have VSync on? If he's getting 40fps he'd have to have it off...otherwise he'd be limited to 30 or 60.
