you should have used the cheat: runscript zz_supercrit player. it gives you 1000 health and mana and also gives you 50 strength and dexerity (automatically). Also, before you use the cheat to level up, use the cheat: runscript warrior. it allows you to level up to a level 2 warrior and puts in a whole load awsome items in your inventory. if you are a mage, type in runscript wizard. if your are a rogue, type in runscript rogue.

Alter game files at your own risk and always make backups! Make a shortcut for the file daorigins.exe found in C:\Games\Dragon Age\bin_ship\daorigins.exe or wherever you installed the game and got to Shortcut Properties. Under Target, add -enabledeveloperconsole at the end so it looks like this:
