Wolf Suite Pt.1 - Danny Elfman

Great track, but although I liked both the Tinker Tailor trailer and film, this definitely doesn't convey the tone of the actual movie. This is tense and paranoid (which superficially fits the concept of TT), while the movie had a tone more of world-weariness and resignation. Good stuff all around, but sort of misleading.

@ListenSilently Most of his non-Burton scores don't have that vibe or it isn't as heavy. He was more into that style in the 80's and 90's and especially when working with Burton, who is just as eccentric as he is. Look up the Sommersby and Black Beauty scores to name a couple.

I honestly rather this in The Wolfman because the cello makes it sound like it's meant to be from that time era but some aspects of this fits Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy way better!

Yeah, the TINKER TAILOR trailer actually gives music greater purpose than what The Wolfman ever did. It's like it was made for the former.

IMHO this theme really fits better Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy 'cause one reason: it makes you feel like a fly being entangled in a spider's web while you are unthinking - a perfect setting for a Cold war spy thriller :)
