what amp do you use? or what distortion pedal do you use? I have the new EVH guitar and a VM fender deluxe. Not happy with the sound. You have a good sound.

for me floyd rose is better

its a big preference thing. The pros of floyd- obviously you can do all the tremolo stuff and stay in tune. But they require ALOT of maintenance, and string changing and even just tuning is damn near impossible. Alot of people just like to keep it simple.

tuning on a floating floyd is next to impossable but not on a dive only Floyd Rose thier easy to get in tune.

i get what you mean. if you set up the floyd so that it isnt floating anymore, its locked all the way as high as it can be- then you dont have to worry about keeping it flush with the body. But some say its bad for a floyd to do that. it hasnt mattered to me.

Yeah I mean it's so much easier to be able to just drag the strings out, and shove in a new one, or just tune them without doing anything.

However, it's freaking sweet to be able to dive, do a pinch harmonic and then drag the whammy bar all the way backwards and just hear the roar.

I'm playing for 4 years..and i want to buy a new guitar...I found an OLP mm1 and I don't know it..and it's very cheap only about 220$ Is it good??...and is there a big diference beetween OLP and MusicMan?...

man, in my honest opinion, there´s a big difference between the real thing and the asian licenced copy, but you´ll need consider the fact that olp mm1 guitar´s are excelente guitars for 220bucks, i´m think they are one of the best guitar´s you can buy with 220 dolares.

rigth llttppkk, Eddie had some signature guitars in his carreer. Olp MM1 is a chinese copy of Music Man Axis guitar, i have one olp guitar and they are great for they price range, Music Man Axis was the substitute of Music Man EVH model (early 90´s). Mine is a EVH made by Peavey USA, and now Eddie have a new contrat with Fender guitars and they worked at new wolfgang model.

hello dino, i´m love this wolfie w/ fixed bridge. It have good tone with sustain, good entonation and it is an excelent choice when you need replace strings heheh It´s more easy work with different pitchs, for me is easy change my guitar between standard or 1/2 pitch lower, or work with drop d or drop c#. But if you are a evh gearhead and play in his way, i think the floyd rose version is more apropriatte.

Because floyd roses completely rob tone. They make the strings sound thinner and they are big trouble to tune and change strings. The stoptails look better to me too. But either way the wolfgang is great
