This game is fine for the 'casual' cricket fan. If you like T20 cricket, you will get on fine with it. But the test mode, which interested me the most, is diabolical. The umpiring decisions are just shocking - they still haven't integrated the fact that a batsman cannot be dismissed from a ball pitching outside leg (other than run out). When you spend an hour grinding out a gritty 12 not out only to be chopped off like that, it's incredibly annoying. As a serious cricket fan, I hate this game.

Wow, I didn't know my comment would get so much coverage. I've actually got this game and played it a lot with my cousin and brother for a few months. I still stick by my comments to be honest, despite it being decent it's still very limited in comparison to other sports games in this day and age.

You know....its kind of funny. The game's called International Cricket but they've got licenses only for Aus and Eng. It looks exactly like Ashes 2009....just some camera tweaks for the new release...bt apart from that it looks exactly the same.

This is what happens when India is the biggest force in cricket. It's a third world country and hence the good maker of cricket games, EA, doesn't have the push to make it anymore as India does not buy games. They are left with both Australia and England, combined population of 80 million. Other games have target countries that add up to 1 billion. Cricket is the second largest sport in te world, but most of those countries don't play video games.

obviously for the next cricket game to be good youl have to improve on pretty much everything arsenal14hassan mention in his comment (totally agree). in the next cricket game fix these things like licenses ETC, but also add a my player mode kinda like in NBA 2K11, and also a back yard mini gamemode. cricket games have the potential to be awesome, they just need to sort out a lot of issues and add more into the games to make them realistic

Cricket is my favourite sport & the trailer of this was very good with clear video. But i do agree with arsenal14hassan about the robotic style playing. I personally likes EA Cricket 2005. it was good & was a great game But these games dont really match with the older ones. Watching the traliers make me feel uncomfortable cause i no that its not the same as other games. Its hard to tell where technology is heading.

I love cricket but these games are as stale and still maintain lack of physics since 2002 and that is seriously appalling. This doesn't deserve to be a next gen game, the movement is so robotic it's cringeworthy. Licenses still missing... At the moment cricket games are not improving and they probably won't for years. There isn't a strong enough market as you've pointed out, people aren't online to play network matches either. They seem like they're one week games at best atm. Harsh but yeah...

It's LeCrosse and it's from France and I feel it's lame because it's they run down the field pass teh ball arund the horn for days get one shot then jog down to the other side of the field and they switch lines so there's almost no mid-field play and I don't see the endurance factor at all. It has teh same rhythm as Water Polo but way slower.
