  • I love this version *-* (the brazilian portuguese is very good too!=D)

  • I didn't like this version at first, but then I kept listening to it... and I can't get enough of it now!

  • Am feeling so happy when I listen to this song , specially when I remember How much I love this movie

  • @mrsbagans123 it sounds beautiful to me, but I see what you mean about sounding funny. To many people they say arabic sounds like hindi, but i'll never know because arabic and english are natural to me

  • @SuperSaad64 HOW does it sound like hindi? my grandparents speak it and I'm learning arabic, rly different. but if youre comparing URDU (slightly different, written in arabic script.), then yeah, a bit. not really though

  • @ShallanDavar I never said it sounds like hindi, I was telling a person that to many people who have never heard arabic before, it sounds like hindi to them, sort of like if you don't know chinese, then vietnamese, thai, korean, and japanese all sound the same.

  • @SuperSaad64 yeah, ik.

  • بيداري ايه وساكت , القلب احتار معاه :( <3

    أححلى مقظع

  • The Lion King is truly beautiful in any language, no film could ever truly compare to The Lion King.

  • Gotta love pumbaas voice =) haha

  • الله افلام والت ديزني كلها حلوه اذكر هذي الاغنيه اعيدها عشرين مره

  • i can't unterstand (ok, the englisch lyric..)... but it's funny xD

  • i can't unterstand... but it's funny xD

  • sorry, sound pretty strange....

  • am a filipino~ but the first time i watched THE LION KING was in arabic~ and i instantly fell inlove w/ the whole story and characters~ this movie had a great impact on me when i was growing.. it made me realize the importance of family and friends. I LOVE IT! and i've actually memorized this song in arabic~ never knew an english version ever existed till this last year~ LOL!

  • @mishie184 Hey I'm Pinoy too!

  • that is why Arabic is so special. I am studying arabic for only 4 months now but I still can understand the reasons. First. it is in arabic and if it was to be literally translate from english it would not make sense for the arabic viewers. the arabic then translated to english is different since arabic grammar is totally different, thus translations is improvise, unfortunately it is not like the original. so those who complain, just watch the original. but i am sticking to arabic. =)

  • The translation is bemusing but I love Nala's voice!

  • i know, i don't really like the arabic translation. its soooo different than the original lyrics

  • @LMA629 all languages have different translations..

  • @Zizumia3 i know, but this one was the most far off from the original lyrics that ive seen so far. but i know they have to change the lyrics to make the words fit in the time and have them rhyme, too.

  • This Language is Egyptian Arabic

  • LMFAO

  • GREAT VERSION it really helped knowing hebrew iys easier to translate the sounds of words back forth learned it in few days :)

  • one of the best versions :D

Nala's voice is so cute in arabic :)

  • The language and the voices are beautiful, but the words are sadly not matched up very well

  • My name is Elise! Just spelled different^^

  • good work :) thanks

  • its look beatifaul ,,,

    keep it up

  • Oh my Goodness, this version is SO Wonderful!!! Arabic sounds very nice!

    A pleasure to the ears!

  • @oopaulorafael Sounds even better than french, and from what i've heard french is the language of love. This is 50% more romantic.

  • @HAVEFUN259 I like arabic too but i dont think it sound more romantic than french

  • @krisokris011498 Oh, well. to each his/her own I guess. :) Peace out.

  • in the beginning when timon is speaking

    weakhretha ahna el2tn3in

should translate better to "at the end, we will be two" as opposed to its the end of us two

  • i don't speak arabic at all but this sounds so NICE :) i love the lion king

  • hehehe <3 I love this! Sat in England watching it! Realy miss egypt :( going back soon :)

  • Am i the only one who loves Simba's voice?

  • @DannMann7 no, i also think that his voice is actually quite charming... :] by the way one of my favorite versions of the song, it makes it sound funny lol, along with the Japanese version.

  • nalas voice <3

  • This is so weird to learn fusha and then not to hear in dialect some sounds, like "qaf" or to hear ج pronounced differently.

Anyway, I'm not used to dialect and it's very hard for me to understand most of the words, so thanks for the uploading all your videos with subtitles. Great job for people like me :)

  • its the nicest song in arabic

  • Beautiful.

  • Personally, I didn't liked the hebrew nala (was more shouting than actual singing), but this one is really smooth and lovely <3

  • This is Disney dubbed, is it? The translations are hilarious.

  • Egyptian arabic!

    mostly different from real arabic.

  • This is one of the my favourite versions of this song, even including the English and Canadian French versions I grew up with. I especially love Nala's voice in her solo. :]

  • Even though I think Hebrew Nala will always pwn I can't help but feel charmed by Simba's Arabic voice, both languages are very pretty in their own unique way. That's another reason why I love different languages. :D

  • Simba ruins the video :P haha jk hes aiirigt. Nala shoulda had her own song in my opinion

  • Arabic literature is very well respected, but the Arabic that spoken today is vulgar and extrovert, unlike Hebrew. Hebrew is clean, nice and relaxed.

I say this as someone who knows both languages.

  • i speak Hebrew and Arabic ....

  • i speak hebrew but not arabic

i try to found similar words in arabic and hebrew

    and i found this:

    ana - אני (ani)

    inta - (ata) אתה

    homma - הם(hem)

    howa - (hu) הוא

    heya - (hi) היא

  • meen - (mi) מי

    hoba - (ahava) אהבה

    bel'ein - (einaim) עינים

    sa - (shaa) שעה

    sakit - (sheket) שקת

    alb - (leb) לב

    malik - מלך (melech)

    yalla - (yalla) יללה

    we - (ve) וֶ

  • can i ask you how those words are similar?

stop dreaming hebrew and arabic are not even close! you said you know hebrew but learn also to write cuz you are suck in writting!

  • @rotemsh1 MA ATA ROTZE?!?!?!

    ANI RAK MATCHIL LIKTOV IVRIT

i'm a jew and i think the hebrew and the arabic are closer than u think

  • @sacopix more than i think! hell no i learnt 4 years arabic and it has nothing to do with each other maybe the grammar but language is different!

אני רואה שאתה חדש בזה מה אתה בכיתה א.....או שציפר לא בשבילך חחחחחחחח

  • @rotemsh1 ata yodea ma ze "shoresh"??

ok, et ze ze hashoresh hashemi be yesh milim beivret u bearbit she ata yachol (comparate)

  • The singers are good, but the words don't fit the rhythm very well. I'm a Hebrew speaker and I really like Arabic. I wish I were able to speak it.

  • i don't have a favorite i like all of them.=]

  • I love the hebrew version much better

    Arabic is too harsh..

  • Maybe that's how you heard it, but I think the uvular fricative "ch" is much sharper and more harsh in Hebrew than in Arabic.

  • dude Nala's voice blew me away wow

  • Nala's voice is so cute

  • Whereas the Iraqi dialect sounds utterly repulsive. This actually sounds pretty good.

  • hebrew sounds better

  • Just heard the hebrew, yuck, sorry i don't agree. Hurts my ears.

  • Hebrew is a lucid language , unlike Arabic which sounds completely distorted when spoken.

  • that kha sound from deep down the throat not very nice on the ears.

  • But the way Arabic is put together , it doesn't sound like a very good singing language.

It's like rhyming "flouride" with "yoyo".

    It don't sound to good.

But Hebrew is lucid (clear) and rhythmic .

  • Hebrew is no more "lucid" or rhythmic than Arabic. What you are saying about Arabic doesn't make sense. If you don't like Arabic as a singing language, then that's your personal opinion.

I've heard lots of songs in Hebrew and Arabic, and the gutteral fricative, usually written as "ch" in Hebrew, makes Hebrew a lot more harsh to the ears than Arabic.

  • @spacekangaroo depends on who speaks hebrew, there are 3 different accents.

  • @mites7 yeah but only 1 is spoken in israel

  • What hebre or arabic?

  • Your right :)

  • I love this song in this language. It sounds so sweet and magnificent. It's a very pretty language and Nala's voice is the best I have ever heard =]

  • Yes,it is.

  • beautiful :o)

  • Sutch a beautiful song. Arabic is a beautiful language =D lino king is so great

  • جميييلة!!! الملك الغابة أحسن فيلم من والت دسني!

  • @SlimShadyEminemBaby

  • @SlimShadyEminemBaby hmmm... I dont belive you for some reason :/

  • GreeeeaaaaaT JOB...

  • Oh I just love this! Its so pretty in Arabic! Thanks so much! :D

  • I love the Nala-Part here! It's incredible!

  • in what sense don't you understand it? O.o

  • I don't speak the language. I don't know how I ended up here. But one of my favorite Disney movies lol.

  • Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean you should say it's gay.

I don't understand it either, but I think it sounds nice.

  • love it!

yalla n'eish el'hob el'leila! This says more than 1000 words!

  • هههههه أنت غبي جداً. عشان "يلا نعيش الحب الليلة" مش ألاف كلمات. أري ٤ كلمات يا ذكي. ههههههههه

  • I like this Timon's voice.haha

  • i love the song

in arabic i love it more

Now i'm following a course arabic

becouse of you , it's hard to learn , but i'm getting away with it (=

    __x

  • :D

you want a karaoke version of it?

  • This is fabulous with all the subbed&translated videos, thank you so much! Makes my day :).

  • I kinda love one piece of this song, can any translate: The secret of my love(in the western lettertype) for me? i kinda lovee to use this for messages=) thx already

  • i want the lyrics in ARABIC!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually it is wrote o.o"

  • The Arabic version is really awesome ! coz Arabic is awesome anyway ! Thank you for this video ! I was looking for it everywhere ! at last ! I found it ! Thanks again !

  • love it loooool

    so romantic

    <3

  • Hmmm... the syllabic work on this song is really poor quality..

Many of the verses don't match with the melody, and differ too much from the original syllabic order..

I like the language, and the singers are good, but whoever wrote the Arabic lyrics was bad at it (not the person who subbed and translated this one, but the original translator of the Eng version for the Arab singers)

  • Nice! do speak Arabic?

  • Comment removed

  • I totally agree with you. The translator tried to fit too many syllables into each line. Normally, I love the Arabic versions of disney songs such as The Colours of the Wind, but this one is terribly done.

  • @RZy17:

I agree. The syllables are poorly matched, but the singers are great.

  • @RZy17 but the timon and pumba part is hilarious

  • real funny

  • lol

  • ok now that is funny loooool

  • thank you so much!

    *-*

its WONDERFUL i found this in transliterated arabic to teach better pronunciation

all 3 languges make me tear up/cry when i watch this song

    TY SO MUCH

  • Aww, how lovely and dreamy version! The lyrics are really unique, Nala's lines are one of the most beautiful of her lines in different versions :) Simba and Nala's voices are great! :D

  • oh i love nalas voice and this song!!!

can you send me the lyric please???

  • Ahhh such a cute version ^^

Nala's voice is really unique, like Maetel said, and Timon's voice in Arabic is very funny XD

And the lyrics, ofcourse, are one of the bests!!!

  • Nala's voice is really unique, she has something very Arabic in her way of singing, which is so magic ^^ And even Timon sounds so different from the other, he sounds less "crazy"!I love how he dramatize the situtation at the beginning "it's the crisis" xD. It is damn I can't understand Arabic, cause the translation is always really good and different from the original :3 they always surprise me by their "good-ness" :O

  • luv it

  • I love this version. The voices are good. And the lyrics are so sweet.

  • Arabic is one of my favourite versions, I'm listening to it for whole time! ^^

The best in here is Timon, not knowing why. XD

In my opinion, Nala has really preeety voice, but somehow it reminds me of 15-years old girl. o.o

But chourus here is one of the best!

  • Nala's voice is one of the best I've heard. Simba sounds very nice as well the main voice is not my favourite but it certainly isn't bad at all the lyrics are jsut sweet sweet sweet and not so Arabic O.o I didn't expect these lyrics although it's a love song so on the other hand I did xD thank you for uploading ^^
