Your comments seem insightful but I think you need to tighten up some of your ideas so that we can get a better sense of exactly what you're trying to express.
@lourak Thank you for your comment. I think you are right. I am getting more experience in making videos and I will certainly try to be more accurate and clear when I talk about another great pianist.
@JaakSikk Looking forward to your next clips! As a side note - that Volodos belongs in the top tier of this generation's pianists, is beyond question. His technique and expressive power are transcendental.
Thank you for your observations. Volodos is a truly lyrical pianist. He understands phrasing and balance. He gives shape and an overall "architecture" to each piece. I think he uses some kind of weight-transference technique, even in muted, reserved passages.
I agree with everything you said about Volodos, but this is just painful to watch...
