definitely agree with LadyScreaming about this interview. the questions are good, the responses are great, and there's plenty of warmth and bonhomie here. i like the beginning of the first of the four segments, where the fans on the streets are passing on there appreciation to Bowie himself. a great start to a great interview!

I love how he responded to the girl in the audience and questioned her about philosophy, like he was genuinely interested in what she had to say. She is so lucky she got to share such a moment with him!

I also am in awe of how he can answer such personal questions about family with such clarity without seeming unattached or distant. A great man. Now for the next one! :)

wow, so many personal questions! and david seem ok to answer them, i think. in other interviews here you can see david making jokes to break the ice or sth, changing subject or even shuting himself up all of a sudden when he thinks a question is not worth answering... i might be wrong, anyway... well, it's just that he seems very 'open' here i guess :)
