Yes Lotus cars are easy to spin off due to the mid engine layout, which causes snap oversteer easily. But as a professional driver, he should be able to prevent such incident from happening. Don't you think that to be a good driver you must have the sense of anticipating a oversteer coming up, and maybe step on the gas a lil bit to keep the tail checked in, instead of releasing the gas paddle? This is not caused by a weak chassis, but pure driver mistake.
WTH?? Is this the kind of video I'm watching from an ex-F1 driver?? No doubt we can say that he's a good driver (maybe) but I don't think he was never prepared for F1.. you're better off a commentator than a driver Poster Boy!
well, you guys who bashed him should consider this. He used to pilot a F1 and now an A1. The thing about these open wheel cars is that they go through corner without hesitation. Now, switching to a much much softer car like Exige S, he pushed too much. That happened to me and my friends. When we race on roll cage welded to chassis civic, very stiff, we have same problem tracking the circuit with an Exige S, yes my Exige S. Because it felt too soft, and just a little over it oversteers.
Alex Young former F1 driver. Hmm, had he been drinking? Some particularly bad lines there, several times nearly lost it, and then did loose it. My grandmother can drive better than that. Come on..
what's Alex doing?? he's going too fast into corners, applying throttle too early on exit, wasting so much time with corrections, argh.... nuff said... what a waste of time
if you're so good enough then why arent you in f1 b4?well u dont even know how to race...u speak trash...try it yourself i bet you slip to the grass almost halfway a lap through
excuse me?? I test/review high performance cars on and off track. I know what I'm talking about. Obviously there was a little sarcasm in my earlier comment.
sorry i missed the not off the end of the sentence!
