I agree that the Lese Majeste law should not exist but the King cannot remove it as it was created by politicians and only they can remove it . To his credit the King has said he can be critisied but even without this law it would unlikely to change the Thai peoples anger of foreigners attacking their King , In Thai culture the King and Religion are the pillars of the Thai nation so attacks on him would be regarded as an attack on all Thailand . He has been a great king for his people .

We cannot bar your brain not to think positive or negative to our King, but you have to aware how limited information you have about the King and also our tradition. The cultures and ways of lives are different in different countries. That's why we have to respect other country's tradition and law. Lese Majeste law has its process to investigate before passing sentence to jail.

ThaiPresident ,most thai's only see or hear the king on radio,Tv,pictures, or his annual birthday speech but cant even get close to the man with all the bodyguards surrounding him.Just look at the roads they block for him and the royal family.And if someone say they have touch him they are bullshiting.You dont touch him! ?He touches you! But when he does touches you it is for a picture or a clip so they can put it out all over the papers or on tv.

The Thai have put the faith on Thai prime-ministers and the King. With no legal power, the King has provided the guidance and proved to the world that a leader with only moral authority can play a very important role. I don't know much about King Rama VIII's assassination. Anyway, I respect King Bhumibol for what he has done for Thai people. I think of him as a man, not any sort of divine, but of course one could hardly deny that he is really a good king. We all know that he was murdered by an anti-royalist movement at that time. He was given the throne at a young age just after the coup d'etat which changed Thailand from absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy.
