I missed the platinum touch of his supreme voice in this song!!!! :( otherwise its a very excellent effort by a marathi person to keep marathi asmita alive!!! Jai Maharashtra!

तर मराठी अभिमानगीतामध्ये हे कड्वं न घेण्याची २ कारणं -
१) हे कड्वं कधीच मूळ कवितेचा भाग नव्हतं. (ही कविता संयुक्त महाराष्ट्राच्या चळवळीच्या दरम्यान लिहिली गेली).
२) "आपुल्या घरीच हाल सोसते मराठी" ही परिस्थिती सध्या खरी असली तरी चिरंतन नाही... आणि ती तशी असावी असं कुणालाच वाटत नाही. अभिमानगीत मात्र चिरंतन आहे. या गाण्याचा हेतू आपल्याला आपल्या मराठीचा अभिमान वाटावा आणि वाटत रहावा. अंतिम सत्य हे मूळ कवितेमधली शेवट्ची ओळ सांगते तेच आहे - येथल्या चराचरात राहते मराठी!!
भटांची ही कविता "रूपगंधा" या संग्रहात प्रथम छापली गेली. आपल्याला आढळेल की शेवटचं कड्वं त्यातही नाही. तसंच आत्ता इयत्ता ६वीला ही कविता आहे. त्यातही हे कड्वं गाळलं आहे का? दस्तुर्खुद्द सुरेश भटांनीसुद्धा हे कड्वं छापतांना (अगदी शेवटच्या आवृत्तीमध्येही) का गाळलं? (lucako, सुरेश भटांनाही म्हणणार का तुम्ही, शेपुट घातलं वगैरे?!) तर त्याचं कारण असं की मूळ कवितेत हे शेवटचं कडवं नव्हतंच. सुरेश भटांनी मूळ कवितेनंतर जवळजवळ २० वर्षांनंतर हे कड्वं लिहिलं. तरी ते छापण्याची परवानगी कधीच त्यांनीही दिली नाही.
शेवटचं कडवं - "पाहुणे जरी असंख्य..." का घेतलं नाहिये हा अनेक लोकांचा प्रश्न आहे. माझ्या वकुबाप्रमाणे त्याचं उत्तर देण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहे. काही लोकांनी सभ्यपणे हा प्रश्न विचारला आहे, तर काहींनी थोड्या असभ्य भाषेत आरोप केले आहेत. हरकत नाही. शेवटचं कड्वं का घेतलं नाही यामागे माझा काही तर्क आहे. lucako सारख्या सद्गृहस्थांना तो चुकीचा वाटला तर नुसतंच मला शिव्या देण्यापेक्षा त्यांनी त्याबद्दल काही त्याबद्दल काही विधायक करावं. सगळेच स्वागत करतील!
संगीतकार कौशल इनामदार यांनी मराठी अभिमानगीताच्या माध्यमातून मराठीची एक असाधारण सेवा केली आहे. गेली दोन वर्ष त्यानी बाकीची सर्व कामं बाजूला ठेऊन केवळ या गीताचाच ध्यास घेतला होता. हे गीत म्हणजे मराठी माणसासाठी एक स्फुर्तीगीतच आहे. सामान्य माणसांकडून (त्यात काही असामान्यही आहेत) प्रत्येकी पाचशे रुपये जमा झाले आणि त्या रकमेतून हे गाणं साकार झालं. त्या अर्थाने ही ‘कॉमन वेल्थ’ आहे, मराठी माणसाची सांसकृतीक ठेव आहे.

@muzikrocks99 I shall give you an answer to both your questions. One - I am not there in EACH AND EVERY FRAME! That's an exaggeration!! You'll see many frames wherein I am not there... I am not there in ANY moving image... If I were a narcissist, you'll agree that I would have loved to be in the video part! I am there in many of the photos... the whole AV was made out of production photos. These are my memories. These were creatively compiled by a friend to make this AV.

तर मराठी अभिमानगीतामध्ये हे कड्वं न घेण्याची २ कारणं -
१) हे कड्वं कधीच मूळ कवितेचा भाग नव्हतं. (ही कविता संयुक्त महाराष्ट्राच्या चळवळीच्या दरम्यान लिहिली गेली).
२) "आपुल्या घरीच हाल सोसते मराठी" ही परिस्थिती सध्या खरी असली तरी चिरंतन नाही... आणि ती तशी असावी असं कुणालाच वाटत नाही. अभिमानगीत मात्र चिरंतन आहे. या गाण्याचा हेतू आपल्याला आपल्या मराठीचा अभिमान वाटावा आणि वाटत रहावा. अंतिम सत्य हे मूळ कवितेमधली शेवट्ची ओळ सांगते तेच आहे - येथल्या चराचरात राहते मराठी!!
जय हिंद! जय महाराष्ट्र!!

भटांची ही कविता "रूपगंधा" या संग्रहात प्रथम छापली गेली. आपल्याला आढळेल की शेवटचं कड्वं त्यातही नाही. तसंच आत्ता इयत्ता ६वीला ही कविता आहे. त्यातही हे कड्वं गाळलं आहे का? दस्तुर्खुद्द सुरेश भटांनीसुद्धा हे कड्वं छापतांना (अगदी शेवटच्या आवृत्तीमध्येही) का गाळलं? (lucako, सुरेश भटांनाही म्हणणार का तुम्ही, शेपुट घातलं वगैरे?!) तर त्याचं कारण असं की मूळ कवितेत हे शेवटचं कडवं नव्हतंच. सुरेश भटांनी मूळ कवितेनंतर जवळजवळ २० वर्षांनंतर हे कड्वं लिहिलं. तरी ते छापण्याची परवानगी कधीच त्यांनीही दिली नाही.

शेवटचं कडवं - "पाहुणे जरी असंख्य..." का घेतलं नाहिये हा अनेक लोकांचा प्रश्न आहे. माझ्या वकुबाप्रमाणे त्याचं उत्तर देण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहे. काही लोकांनी सभ्यपणे हा प्रश्न विचारला आहे, तर काहींनी थोड्या असभ्य भाषेत आरोप केले आहेत. हरकत नाही. शेवटचं कड्वं का घेतलं नाही यामागे माझा काही तर्क आहे. lucako सारख्या सद्गृहस्थांना तो चुकीचा वाटला तर नुसतंच मला शिव्या देण्यापेक्षा त्यांनी त्याबद्दल काही त्याबद्दल काही विधायक करावं. सगळेच स्वागत करतील!

‘कॉमन वेल्थ’ मराठी अभिमानगीत"
संगीतकार कौशल इनामदार यांनी मराठी अभिमानगीताच्या माध्यमातून मराठीची एक असाधारण सेवा केली आहे. गेली दोन वर्ष त्यानी बाकीची सर्व कामं बाजूला ठेऊन केवळ या गीताचाच ध्यास घेतला होता. हे गीत म्हणजे मराठी माणसासाठी एक स्फुर्तीगीतच आहे. सामान्य माणसांकडून (त्यात काही असामान्यही आहेत) प्रत्येकी पाचशे रुपये जमा झाले आणि त्या रकमेतून हे गाणं साकार झालं. त्या अर्थाने ही ‘कॉमन वेल्थ’ आहे, मराठी माणसाची सांसकृतीक ठेव आहे.

I am proud of this song....but the fact that it has included the hariharan, humsika aiyyar and many more non-maharashtrians makes this song even more special....i had thought not to single out. But Kaushal has done a brilliant job. like everyone, everybody loves their community however at the same time we cannot disapprove any other langauge, community. this is message of the song!!

Simply incredible, unbelievable. Every marathi manoos should be abhimaani to be a marathi after listening to this song. Kaushal u have done a great job. And ofcourse the master Suresh Bhat has penned down the song from his heart.

It belongs to all those who, in fact, have a mother tongue! In the last chorus sung by 356 people, there were many UP-ites, Punjabis, Bengalis, Marwaris, Gujaratis, Kannadigas, Tamilians, Malayalis, who were born and brought up in Maharashtra. As the poet is a Maharashtrian he has written about his mother tongue Marathi. The poem should not be misunderstood. It is not meant to hurt anybody's feelings.

@muzikrocks99 I shall give you an answer to both your questions. One - I am not there in EACH AND EVERY FRAME! That's an exaggeration!! You'll see many frames wherein I am not there... I am not there in ANY moving image... If I were a narcissist, you'll agree that I would have loved to be in the video part! I am there in many of the photos... the whole AV was made out of production photos. These are my memories. These were creatively compiled by a friend to make this AV.

@muzikrocks99 I think you have missed the point. The AV has been made so that it becomes possible to you to identify the singer. Each of the singer who appears in the frame with his / her name below has sung that particular line. This video has nothing to do with people who have made us proud. That is a good idea for a video too. Why don't you compile some pictures and video footage and make one on those lines if you can? It would be grt to have a second video!
