Planet olusola, can you advise them to release a catalogue album . Or probably, the record company holds all the rights? They will probably sell a million copies in New York alone!
We enjoyed this song in the early 80's,even had it for cultural dance, may God bless them, they should leave America and come down naija jo,no place like home.
WOWWWWWWWW..... I remeber singing this lyrics in my childhood... didnt even know it was released in an ablum... i love niaj.. i miss my childhood... noooo i wish i can go back...

Erykah Badu would have felt more welcome & hospitable during her short visit to Lagos if Lijadu sisters were still in the picture - musical arena, suffice, she would have been more pleased to meet with Orisabunmi, the likes of Mrs. Duro Ladipo & Prof. Jimi Solanke, etc. I am quite sure Lijadu sisters could help Erykah Badu solve her ancestrial curiosity - no other ancestrial finding could signify much better than meeting with these sisters to re-ignite her African link or root.... Well, Asa!
l wish my daughter was born the time this song was reighning - it was a monster hit then. 1 was just 13 yrs old, full of life & energy! Thanks to planetolusola!!! This was my best track , well composed with grassroot melody......
This song is enough to provoke the demise of Notorious BIG from the grave & orchestrates the remix of "orere Eleijigbo" same as he did remix of "Mtune - Juicy"
Somewhat, l have found the same patterns, themes (common affinity) with the way Erykah Badu (Baduism).
nice to hear the sis on youtube how are you guys doing now and idowu if any of the sisters see this or idowu drop few lines on my comment i surly get it in my e-mail as you know am not going to put my name in this comment you be very surprise who this is little int mom, mokola,st louis LOL
i love this u made me remember those days.wat a lovely add. also thanks 4 the latest infomation abt the sisters.so they are in new york.more grease to ur elbow .
i was so young when this album was released, God t his is refreshing and can u see the composition when music was still music, not now that musicians can not even think, only to copy the old songs. i just their beautiful faces. who can remind of any of their songs on u tube.
@planetolusola GLORY BE TO ALMIGHTY GOD FOR THAT BECAUSE HAVE BEEN WORRIED OF WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPEN TO THEM IF THEY HAVE BEEN IN NIGERIA AM HAPPY AND RELIEVED
it's amazing what good music was made then with little money and equipment available.Christie Essien,Funmi Adams,Mandy Ojugbana, Onyeka,Chris Okotie,Evi Edna... am I stuck on the past or is it mostly crap coming out these days? and this is worldwide not just Nigeria.
