and a friend that doesn´t ruin all or isn´t dumbass

  • now watch 8 bit trip

  • It must've cost $10000. In coin

  • Can't we just pretend it's real, it's much more fun

  • Why did machinima upload a video made by someone else?

  • This would have been impossible without the projector

  • wow

  • Definitely just a sheet covered in coins being manipulated by the computer, but still awesome looking nonetheless.

  • すごすぎ!途中でCGかと疑ってしまったけど、本当に手でコインを動かしてたんだな。

    プロジェクタを使ってるのは頭いいと思った。

  • 1:01 lol does that mean he ran off naked :P

  • They hurted my eyes.

  • wonder what it looks like if all the music was just 5 people beatboxing XD

  • Some people say that they began working on this as teenagers...

  • Guys it wasnt supposed to be secret, yes it obvious that it is fake. They just wanted to show off what they made.

  • cool but fake

  • it's so fake it hurts my balls.

  • Not stop motion. Just a sheet of coins animated on the computer. pretty damn obvious

  • Made by Rymdregslage

  • How long did this take?

  • I can fly!! Wiii!!

  • To all of those who took the time to see If this was fake, screw you! This is a damn good video and i couldn't have done anything like this if I tried! And by the way, GET A LIFE!

  • not even :53 second in and im like wtf! lol Awesome

  • i like the part with the coin

  • Notch says its fake, so its fake.

  • @Ubik328 Some people don't see video's end :)

  • @Ubik328 your are a dumbass they show you how they do it at the end of the video faggot

  • Interesting. If you look at the end showing how they did it, you'll notice the squares don't give a precise location for the quarters. This means there should be slight movements in the location of quarters when they disappear and come back due to human error.

This is not the case. They're placed in the exact same spot every time, and those spots are a bit off due to human error. In order for this to not be fake, they would have had to make the exact same mistake hundreds of times.

  • @bladebot That's not true! The coins only don't appear to move when they are part of an area that doesn't change color. Obviously, they aren't going to move every single coin if it doesn't need to be moved, so subsequent frames will often have coins that do not move at all because the animation includes the color in the same location in subsequent frames.

  • @bladebot notice how only the coins that doesn't need to be moved stays while the scrolling coins always changes location. look closer. :)

  • 4:00 So if this is real, why make the lines pixelated. Wouldn't it have been easier to place the coins in straight lines from each corner?

  • @dcoxen look the end of the video

  • fake , the coins appear in the exactly same position as before

  • @Eleft watch the video 'till the end instead of being dumb

  • @TheWaveringRadiant the explanation is fake, im gonna guess you are not familiar with computer animation they are just overlaying screenshots and what is done in this videos is possible in stop motion, but this is not stop motion, nuff said.

  • @Eleft This is stop-motion animation. The screenshots are only to help them positioning the coins. they project colored spots where they need the coin to be placed.

  • @MrHapiel fake or not, this still looks like it would take a long time to make.

  • Красота!!

    Завораживает.

Не надо рассказывать как это сделано! Это немного разочаровало.

  • Ddaaannnmmm

  • Wow

  • if this is a real stop motion animation short, then it's fuckin awesome!

  • this is fake and gay!!

no just kidding XD this is pretty hard, that took they a long time... great job...

  • dont watch this when your high!

  • W0W

Great job guys. Must have taken a loooooooooooooooooong time to make though

  • Owwwww *o*

  • lol at the explaining in the end <3

  • Omg those coins fucked up my head, at some parts i was kinda lost :O

    Nicely done, good job :)

  • U guys r awesome

How long did it take to do this?

  • AWESOME :D

  • D=

  • Insane! You have to be bored to death to do a such thing

  • after effects between cuts would, or did, make it easier and you would get same effect, still nice though

  • With all the respect this is a good video but is partially fake. They really aligned all the coins but every thing was made from one single photo, then removed the coins digitally to make the frames. Once I was making a project on chemical components flow and used a system like the one they did, the camera was operated remotely, and even though I took 1 photo every 10 seconds for about 2 hours there was a clear change in the lighting during the experiment but not here so is most likely fake.

  • @DragoonA2 How about covering all windows and using lamps ? -.-

  • @Rhenium1485 If you see right in the begining of the video you can clearly see that the camera changes aperture and/or ISO settings generating a dimming and lighting effect, during the coin animation that cannot be seen no matter how much coins are there, then in the guy animation that can also be seen.

I looked thorough the various parts of the video making screenshots and overlaying them, the coins are always in the exact place no matter how many times they moved. That's impossible for humans.

  • it's rymdreglages video :(

  • couple a while

  • охуеть!

  • я думаю, что они врут про то, что все эти фреймы составляли вручную))))

  • Пырыкольна! Вот людям делать нехер!

  • круто, но им явно заняться нечем ;)

  • Fantástico

  • 2:00 sounded like a digimon game for ps1 lol

    I can fly weeeee!!!! : D

  • TV IZ SPAI!

  • fake! try again ;)

  • extrem fake

  • who says this is not just video editing?

  • Smosh made a video about this? I came here from Wins.failblog

  • Someone said "this is gay!" to one of the guys, that's why he doesnt feel comfortable explaining this in the end.

  • Come on people they explained what they did... They have a projector on the ceiling showing them where to place the coins for each frame. They place the coins there, turn off the projector and take a picture. Rinse and repeat. That's why the fight scene is almost too realistic. The patterns are computer generated but the positions of the coins are real.

  • fake

  • @dubmatic808 and gay?

  • Comment removed

  • the reason why i think its fake it's that in the fight scene , take a look at the 4 unaligned coins, once they desapear the come back exactly in the same position, meaning that instead of being moved manually like they said , they took 2 photos one of the carpet full of coins and one with the carpet empty. then they had a computer render the correct coins... just what i think

  • it would have taken me 17 years to do that... and I'm 17. I'm impressed.

  • My eyes hurt now...

  • We will be done in a couple a while :P.... They are not wrong, this would have taken ages to do......

  • trippy

  • holy shit....... this is EPIC btw are u swedish? u with the fair hair? :)

  • i question how long did this take!

  • AMAZING

  • Thumbs up if smosh lead you here

  • Why do I has a fealing that this is fake?

  • Okay there's no way to prove if the did it the way the said or just took a picture of all of the coins in a grid and deleted them to make each frame. It would be as tedious to mask them out in a computer as it would be to physically arrange them. Sure it'd be slightly easier to do it on a computer, but there's still reason to trust them. In the end its the same thing; enjoy it for what it is, not the amount of work it took to make.

    tl;dr ignorance is bliss

  • Why do machinima have to steal the cred for this vid? Just compare the wievs between machinimas and rymdreglages :(

  • Its better than Google!

  • Original and very entertaining, but the boys lack any sign of enthusiasm or flair.... well, can't win it all. Kudos for the achievement!

  • How many frames "rendered" for this video?

  • @sbk1 a tone if Wallace and Grummit was (i think) 7-10 million pics

  • 116 pressed dislike thinking it was fake, before they explain how they did it at the end. ROFL

  • @Stedman75 It is still fake. The coins all stay in position for some 'magical' reason.

Easy to see in the scene from on 2:06 , find some recognizable pattern (for example 2 coins close to each other), hold your finger on the spots. If the coins dissapear and appear again, they will still be close to each other.

If this was real then that would be very unlikely to happen, yet it happens all the time.

  • @Stedman75 You pressed like thinking it was real and believed them at the end. ROFL

  • Thats a lot of coins.

  • So cool!

  • @bombtheboom hey humz i like what you said and will be gald to spend time with you

  • Am I high?

  • @A010795 yesh... hic!

  • Machinima are money whores. They just take other peoples videos and give them absolutely NO fucking credit! They didn't even have anything to do with this video!

  • @gheith001 Read the description

BUT OF COURSE NO ONE WILL

  • @gheith001 They make video of these people popular so STFU!

  • @elecks441 they make who popular? if people watch this, they will have no idea who made this.

  • @gheith001 Look in the description...

  • @gheith001

Wrong sir or mam! :) nice try tho :)

  • no te creee nadie que lo hicieron 'frame por frame' corriendo las moneditas y tomando las fotos una por unaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!! :@

  • i just got mind f'd

  • @SpazMunky0 I see your point, but, for example, when you look at when they are dancing, there are no cut off coins. that would be a dead giveaway, and it would actually take more time to create the stop motion than it would be to edit the edges out.

  • done in a couple of while...

  • SWEET

  • This video cost $65.25.

  • HOW FUCKING LONG DID THIS TAKE THIS IS FUCKING AWSOME

  • IS THIS REAL??!!

  • Just for how much time and effort you put in this, I am going to subscribe. One of the people I know that put extreme effort in there videos.

    I applaud you!

  • @Joropti actualy subcribe to Rymdreglage as well, they did the video, machinima just gets the best of the best of gaming on youtube and posts it on their channel.

  • If you all watch after the video they do behind the scenes and show how they did it

  • @MinecraftPacks Yeah, I'm saying that bit is BS. When you watch bits like 2:20, it would be impossible to make the animation that smooth if they moved all the coins manually, especially when they don't even take note of where they just moved the coins from after they move them, they pretty obviously just filmed two guys in front of a green screen & then tracked the movement. They just used a program to do all the animation. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing video, but it lost it's credibility

  • @SpazMunky0 Actually, it is possible to do it manually. You know the stop-motion video where they use post-its to create a variety of scenes? They did it by creating the images on a computer, projecting them onto the surface, placing the post-its, and then turning the projector off for the photo. If you watch the end of the video, it seems that they did it the same way. So it is possible, it is just painstakingly difficult.

  • @TheFailTrollisFail Your username is perfect for making comments like that to people like him lol

  • @xXPMorexLCoilxSknotX Ha ha, thanks xD

  • I'm sorry but that is so fake, they couldn't have made the animation that smooth if they'd moved the coins manually. It's a great video but anyone who thinks they made the whole video that way is definitely wrong.

  • Did you pause and do another thing then continue?

  • Awesome!!!!!! How did you do this?

  • are you swedish?

  • Epic

  • THAT

    IS

    EPIC.

  • some1 has 2 much time on there hands

  • this could so easily be faked considering its really just white dots and a black background

  • @hunterorionserna Why do we have to "wish it were a real stop motion" ???

ANd why did Machinima uploaded this video, too? I know there are credits.
