v had hired a common cab with other passengers in it. v had paid around 50 to 60 N$ per person. I don't remember exactly. In common cabs its safer to travel. Also unlike other parts of africa in Namibia there is almost no crime so its safe. are u planning a trip there. Its worth it.
I had been to Windhoek, Oshakati, Oshikango, Walvis Bay, Rundu, Oshiworongo, Mariental n some other places in Namibia. I was thr for almost 3 months in 1997 between June n Sept. Its a lovely country must say. Have a nice day. Take Care.

So you didnt travel north to Swakopmund? Thats my favorite, it seems to have the most to offer.
Not that I've even been remotely close to Namibia, or even out of North America for that matter. I just study the country a lot, it seems so unique.
