  • Aahhhhh!!!!!!! SOooo pleased to have found this. Used to cane this on a tape from back in the day. Shitme the memories.

  • Keyboard whiz Webster Lewis plays a really fun jazz song with voices called "Barbara Ann" from the recording "Touch My Love" circa 1978. He never hit it really big but was successful in producing, commercials, and movie soundtracks. He passed away at age 59 in 2002 from diabetes. "Barbara Ann" keeps his name alive for many of us and I love this performance. RIP.

  • bril classic

  • what's the name of this track? thx

  • rock city nottingham jazz room 1986

  • thanks I bought them all

  • Webster was my professor in college. All 4 of his CBS/EPIC Albums are being released on CD on Expansion Records from the UK. Check it out. It will be released in the next month.

  • And it's a shame that the Love Unlimited Orchestra presents Webster Lewis album (Welcome Aboard) isn't gonna be released like those. This one was released on CD in Japan during the 90's but for some reason soon became near impossible to get.

  • yes, this is so sad, CD is very hard to find! hope one time the japanes release come back

  • I performed with him as a 2nd chair 1st violin in his student based orchestra in Boston(NewEngland Conservatory). One of life's most memorable experiences.

  • @x429960 You are truly blessed! I envy you. Most people will never heard of or appreciate Webster Lewis. I do and I never met him but His music speaks volumes.
