Jason Orange is a very big fan of Pink Floyd and I love both PF and TT, this is a good version. Obviously no one can beat the original but you can see how much Jay is enjoying performing it. :)

This is incredible! If you're going to cover a classic, then do it right - and Take That did it right. They made it a bit more funky and contemporary to appeal to the young crowd there who might not know who Pink Floyd is. But they didn't mock or take anything from the original. Great job!

I think the reason Jason's voice sounds different is because this is quite a low song, even for him to sing. And don't forget, this was his first lead vocal on anything really, even though its only for tour. I think his voice has just simply gotten better over the years

I don't think Jay mimed on this one. It just sound different than his usual voice coz Gary did the BV for him.

This one was ok to pretty good cover. It got me (as a young kid) into Pink Floyd anyway. But the Nirvana's one, lmao, that's pretty bad.

Take That are always bold when come to performing on state. Doesn't matter what the outcome is, they try on everything.

erm....i think you're the one who needs to get your facts right before you go round telling others they're sad. of course they mime occasionally - THEY'VE ADMITTED IT!!!! that doesnt mean theres not always a valid reason. they sound better live anyway. but that doesnt change the fact that they HAVE mimed in the past, and will likely do so again when circumstance demands it. its not like it matters anyway - everyone knows they're one of, if not the, best live singers around.

@KatieMarieWe The interview was The O- Zone 1995 with Toby Anstis behind the scenes of this tour Jason is talking to Toby at the dining table explaining about all the vitamins he takes,he says he takes zinc because he sweats a lot on stage then Gary & Mark come over and Mark says ask Jay what he's got in the fridge in the dressing room at which point Jason gets embaressed Mark says it's a bottle that says brain expander!!!! Poor Jay ,Markie really put him on the spot. xx :)

yes actually tt do mime. they admitted to miming at the brits 2009. they don't LIKE to, and are in my opinion much better live....but yes, they have mimed before.

1) it doesnt sound like him when hes live. hes normally a lot more nervous, making him much quieter and shakier than he is here (not that he isnt good, hes just not as perfect as this)

Hmm, they're all good points but I don't think he is:

1. he does normally sound more nervous but it's quite a low song with a simple tune so he doesn't need to be nervous. and maybe he's just having a really good night? he's got all the boys with him to help
