@stills4589 yes, this was the early 70's. in fact i think this is the european tour from 71. at least, it is the same band. Check You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore, Vol. 2
Most under rated composer of all-time. They'll make a list of the greatest composers, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, etc. and they'll leave out Zappa every time. He belongs in that class of artists.
@henrimoon You've got great taste, and I know some of these but not all of them. I found Satie and De Prez and Baden Powell and these are brilliants composers, but not able to find Duffay?
a french flemish renaissance composer. he is prolific in sacred and secular music. he was the first composer who had a truly international career and influence, he is also one of the last composers to restrict almost all of his secular music to the midaeval "Formes Fixes" and to often use midaeval techniques such as polytextuality and isorythm. he stands at a fascinating time in musical history: the watershed between the middle ages and the renaissance.
@henrimoon Okay thanks. Listened to some of Dufay and Bill Brown this morning. I would say Moody Blues are a big rip off of Dufay's music with guitars and drums added in. They should be thrown in jail
the moody blues are pretty big theifs. but compared to every song on the radio in the last 30 years they are nothing! any rapper would laugh at how much musical ability they hold! they wrote songs and preformed them!! both of theese concepts are archaic!! most people can't tell the difference between gregorian chants and motzart!! ( much less the difference between the 1980s and the 1960's!) and anything before the 1960s is an uncool, old thing. no exceptions.
Hi Phideauxiii. I don't have words to express my deeply gratitude for postit that show from '74. (Is one of the best of Zappa concerts - along with MTV '81;) Thx for share it!
Here's a tough question: What Frank Zappa fan HASN'T fallen in love with Ruth Underwood?

look for Gaillaume Dufay
