"We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing. "
lol. word. i think it wasn't meant to be so intense. when you hear bukowski reading his stuff you can almost picture him smiling at himself, sort of in a self-deprecating way, although some of his stuff can be pretty heartbreaking.
@Sparrow405 bukowski was like oscar the grouch, he liked to talk about gross things too, oscar has a sad and disappointing life, but he is the only one on seseme street making jokes, because when your life isn't bright and shiny, you have to find your own happiness. im not insulting bukowski, i love oscar the grouch. and yes i know its a joke to compare the two! ha...
Sick poem. I love the last part about the dirty and clean underwear. typical bukowski understated genius. but the music is a bit off. doesn't seem to fit.
The DOUCHE with no clue reciting the poem should be shot and killed.

Way too dramatic. It really doesn't fit that poem at all. Someone has missed a bit of the humor in that.

I agree with esq---get rid of the background sounds. Strip it down, that's how Bukowski would have wanted it done, as he did so many times before.
Now Kerouac's a different story---he liked his jazz.
