Perhaps I didn't notice until the situation in question because that was the first time I felt she went too far, but there has always been a fairly consistent ratio of troll to honest poster, and when that ratio becomes so massively skewed, one should take a step back and be willing to accept the possibility that the problem is not "everyone else".

Similar situations have, in fact, been covered in psp and asv. If you have no background in the literature, now's a good time to get an education in communications or human sexuality.

It's a good idea to bring two cats home at once, rather than bringing them at different times and trying to introduce them - because then you have one cat as a "interloper" into the other cat's territory. If they both come into "new" territory at the same time, they handle it better.

It's Youtube. The average intelligence hovers somewhere just slightly above that of a baked potato. Good advice for any video producer is to ignore the trolls. Even the first page of comments was asking her what she meant and telling her that she was being overzealous with her feminism. I agree his response garnered the situation more attention, but that doesn't change the fact that the situation happened in the first place. The situation itself is why Rebecca lost a lot of subscribers/respect that day, not Dawkins.

Perhaps I didn't notice until the situation in question because that was the first time I felt she went too far, but there has always been a fairly consistent ratio of troll to honest poster, and when that ratio becomes so massively skewed, one should take a step back and be willing to accept the possibility that the problem is not "everyone else".

But it does not follow that the correct answer must be because her post was definitely at fault. Another explaination could be that the subject just raised a lot of hackles and challenged people in ways they couldn't handle, so they lashed out.
I fully support Rebecca, and think the haters are wrong, no matter how common their hate is.

Shes posted two videos in the past two months ago, neither of which addressed the situation. That is most certainly NOT an example of steadily updating and posting videos.
