  • I heard its going to be taken out of the theaters before Christmas and they'll then re-release it in January. so it can make it to the Nemmy awards or some sort of award thing. so it wont be released til like next year.

  • dec 2

  • This movie is great!!

  • it's all part of the plan ...

  • he is so evil

  • i meant Jack not the jack ._.

  • seen it 3 times i wanna see it on imax

  • it's AWESOME in imax!

  • wow.

  • well worth it too, gj

  • this kid saw it 37 times

  • and so did I!

  • i saw it 58 times all at the cinemas and 11 times at imax it broke me lol

  • I love this movie i've already seen it 2 times

  • Christopher Nolan is NOT bringing in any stupid villians. Read the interviews, people. No Mr. Freeze. No Penguin. Sorry.

I only wish that Heath was still here :( He was absolutely incredible.

  • good!

  • robin is a fag batman doesnt need a gay sidekick

  • @Mindreaper77 - If they made Batman like they did on the 1966 show, you think guys like you wouldn't be saying the same thing. It's up to the film makers..they can make Robin look cool & bad ass, or make him gay & ridiculous. This was true for Batman....it's just as true for Robin. Don't believe me....just look at the 1966 TV series (which is great for kids, not adults), or better yet, the old 1940s Batman & Robin episodes. The Batman Costume was also GAY....Once Upon a Time.

  • wrong there brinijng back chris odonell as robin he is gonna cry a bit and join bat man the rock is gonna be mr freeze and he is gonna say everybody chillllllll!

  • i hate robin(dick)....batman should have stayed alone ...

    u see...theres only 1 true bat,

and it aint dick or tim or terry...no..the one and only true bat is bruce himself...

he s the only one who keeps outmatching his enemys by his smartness,by using his brains...and thats just beside using his all cool gadgets...

but socially and verbaly..terry is the better one...but bruce is the true detective...the true genius batman as he s supposed to be..

  • I agree about the jack, he was the one that looked closest to the joker in the animated series.

BUT i thought heath ledger did great in this movie, he created a different joker.

but you have your opinions i have mine :)

  • let me get some of that stuff you're smokin man ... that must be some good shit.

  • yeah robin in his red and green outfit would look crap in the new batman films but have you seen his constume at the end of batman and robin the film black with a red bird in the middle with the wings stretching over his shoulders looks awesome

  • It almost looks like they were trying to hint at Nightwing.

  • God, this looks so gay....

    Kidding! Ah, I got chu!

    xD

  • I love Joker's laugh at the end. So psycho... makes me wet my pants.

  • in this one they could have brought in robin, who could have left near the end of the film and chose to become knight wing, then in the 3rd film the new kid comes in and takes robins place.. then gets his ass beaten in two by the joker!

obviously cant do that now.. but i think it would have been fun :) even darker than this !

oh and wheres hush? hed be a good villian :)

  • They directer and the writters of the movie all said that they will not have Robin in the next movie. They say it doesn't look good and it will ruin the movies image, which is true.

  • You mean after Jason Todds Death???

  • Robin grown up - Night Wing is way kooler than batman...why don't they make a movie about him ? Batman all the time is gettin boring, why don't they try new stuff. Let everyone have another hero in their heart.

  • dude, batman is unbelievably amazing. he never gets old.

  • robin doesnt come in untill later

  • robin = pussy

  • i would like to see robin if they had those mind blowing actions and martial art moves, like the teen titans they showed robin's fighting skills and when he became night wing when he grow up. Robin is way kooler in the night wing outfit that the green red robin outfit. better than batman's out fight. All black with a dark blue eagle in the middle and all equips of weaons and gadgets with this signature weapon - staff.

  • yea we need to see freeZe and the penguin before robin

  • NO shit man! that rocket part looks tight he just has this crazy look, and seems like he didnt know what to expect when he shot it...looks soooo bsd ass!

  • cant wait to see the part where the joker is blowin shit up with that missle launcher lol

  • QUOTE: "we dont want to see Robin!"

SPEAK FOR YOURSELF.....A LOT OF US WOULD LIKE TO EVENTUALLY SEE A WELL DONE VERSION OF DICK GRAYSON.

There's an era where Batman is the lone viglantee, and there's an era where he mentors a younger version of himself and his own tragedy....both eras are great in their own ways. Unless it's going to be done as badly as the "Batman & Robin" movie was done a couple of years ago....then I'd rather take a crow bar to Robin myself.

  • I'd rather see Freeze than Robin

  • Robin is and still remains to this day a mistake. Never EVER should they rehash that idiot origin story on Dick Grayson EVER!!..well it's just not going to happen anyways so i will end this banter.

  • stephbrakurt - Robin is considered the best sidekick of all time...and just like Batman...his character has endured in the comics....if his character had been a mistake...he would have been canned by his second appearnce...but instead...he's been around for only 1 or 2 fewer years than Batman....that says something.

  • @stephbrakurt -Having been around almost as long as Batman & longer than the Joker disproves your statement. If Cap.America &Thor can make it to the big screen &and be done right, you honestly think Robin cant.If everyone was as closed minded & lacking in imagination as you,a movie about a guy in a Bat Suit would never have been made.If they make him look cool, and do his character right, I will laugh my ass off at you.But if they make him gay and ridiculous, you can laugh all you want at me.

  • I cant wait for this to come out!

  • BAD NEWS!! Helth ledger(the joker)he died and i think they never finished the movie,or if were' lucky Helth Ledger finished his part of the maovie.

  • No, Ledger did in fact complete the film as stated by the director Christopher Nolan himself. Nothing to worry about.

  • I read that Ledger was to come into the studio for about 8-10 hours of audio/voice work. Yes he finished filming, but remember 8 hours is still a considerable amount of time for voice work gone, and his voice as the joker was incredible.

  • No, even those were just rumors. Nolan stated himself that everything was fine the way it is. Ledger completed the entire role -- including the voice work.

  • o.k. bud. rumors they were.

  • Sure were, kiddo.

  • o.k Enough with the polite talk. Kryros you don't know what your talking about! HE Was expected in recored 10 hours of voice over just like Bale Caine and most of the cast DID in the middle of Febuary. FACT IDIOT!

  • I must have hit a nerve. Look, cock boy -- he did in FACT finish everything, as stated by Christopher Nolan himself. They were only rumors and it's a shame that a closed minded half-wit like you believed in them. You're just an all around sucker for bullshit. Keep sniffing it though. Whatever works!

  • Yes, the movie has been finished completely, along with Ledger's work -- as stated from the director Christopher Nolan himself. Go do your homework before you spout off more misinformation. ;-)

  • ~Kros you funny twat. Both Warner and Nolan stated as of March 11 that Ledger had not completed ANY of the post-production vocal work needed on the films ADR assembly.

Gossup sites and dumb fucks like yourself have been quick to deny it, but neither Warner NOR NOLAN have issued ANY statements that audio was completed. after principal photography wraps actors are do voice overs till sometimes weeks before the release. These are actual facts as oppose to the fiction you fabricated. STUPID GOOF.

  • Did you ride the short bus to school today, cock boy? Why does the fact that Heath finished his work on this movie threaten you so much? You're very hostile for such a whiny little runt. Now, show these sources to back up your claims instead of going by your little hear-say bullshit. Heath is done, as are you. Get over it before I come back and piss on your poor self esteem some more. ;-)

  • Hey tough guy ~You are the one sitting in front of your p.c. all day check out those facts for yourself. your are the load your mother should have swallowed and if given the chance i'd smack your front teeth right down your throat.

  • Typical. Yet again you show your complete incompetence. Try again, poor sport. Unlike your mother though -- try harder. ;-)

  • Why do i threaten you? it's not my fault your stupid.

  • The question was directed at you and why Heath Ledger's completion threatens you so much. Is it too hard for you to answer, Francis? Do yourself and the world a favor: unplug your computer from the wall and stop running up your parent's Internet bill. ;-)

  • Oh man i'm debating with a full blow tard.what the shit are you talking about uh ..George ?this is like booing at the special olympics

  • lolol! oh dear.

  • See to them, your just a freak.Like Me.lol! can't wait till this movie comes out.

  • Christopher Nolan is a genius! He resurrected a dying batman franchise!

  • I can't wait until this damn movie gets out! C'mon hit me!

  • best joker hands down. lol im already convinced after seeing the 6 min. prologue and this trailer. cant wait.

  • Where is the 6 min prologue?

  • It looks awesome don't get me wrong...

but it seems like the new Joker is very similar to Jack N. from the first original Batman movie. Only Similar in the fact like his seriousness in his voice. (Not appearance they both have their own flavor of the Joker)

I think they might be holding back the shots, and vid clips of how Crazy The Joker will really be in the movie... well atleast that's what I hope. But I swear if the Joker isn't out of his mind, insane,to the max... it won't be good.

  • Batman begins was a great movie! Christopher nolan is a great director. This looks like the best joker so far. Yetoporon your a fucking dichead!

  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But's that's not even the real issue here. In the trailer he's an excellent villin, with scary, ugly and very very effective looks to boot. I believe his intensity will attract some fan girls, you may yet be one of them, you just have to wait and see for Mr J. to prove you wrong XP.

  • c'mon mannn, the other batman films were kid flicks, this is a grown up batman film

  • and you are an IDIOT!

  • why should robin be in this new batman, its better like this with just 1 man fighting the whole crime, with robin it sucks

  • Unless we get to see the Joker beat Robin to death with a crowbar, we dont want to see Robin!

  • now that would be brytally awesome but still why do we need a robin right if this batman learned how 2 fight 800 or 700 men

  • so someone can say HOLY ABOMINATION BATMAN!!!! lol

  • Lmao!

  • nobody wants to see robin and his green panties mann

  • thats why it was a joke, i can't believe people marked it as spam. damn

  • lol...they're taking this thumbs up/down shht to serious lol

  • i want to see robin .dude.i was thinkin bout this since a long time .i mean nolan is a genius .his way of story tellin and charechterization is awesome .i mean bruce wayne .alfred, gordon all are done much better than comics...u feel they actually live in ur heart after watchin the movie......it will be intrestin to see robin ......i swear.mannnnnnnnn intrestin .....all for chris nolan u rock due!!! heath ledger the best joker.i fell!!! rip

  • i tell ya what would be dope...if they just skip the boyhood wonder role and go straight to his "Nightwing" persona...now that! i wouldn't mind watching ; )

  • i really hope this film still comes out cos its probly one of heath's best roles.

  • it is

  • omg heath R.I.P.

    i miss u

  • Miss you Heath. I can't believe ur dead. This movie is you're memorial and a perfect one at that. RIP

  • R.I.P

You Could've Been The Best Joker Ever T_T

  • He will be the best Joker ever.

  • i guess the third one will be all on two-face, the joker and him could have been a great villian partnership.

  • I wonder how his death is going to affect the movie

  • So sad that such a promising actor died, in this film he demostrates that he couldve been a legend like Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, etc.

  • Possibly the most disrespectful thing i've ever heard~A radical Baptist church in Kansas intends to protest Heath Ledger's memorial service with signs claiming the actor died and is in Hell because he played a gay character in "Brokeback Mountain."

This piece of shit's name is "SHIRLEY PHELPS-ROPER" of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka.~This pig said that she and other members will picket Ledger's United States memorial services.. Disgusting.

  • the role made him crazy, he said he couldn't handle it

  • sucks that he died at such a young age, also i heard he was going to star in the next batman after this=( R.I.P. Haeth Ledger.

  • G'bye mate...you were awesome.........it's really sad that he's dead.....really :(

  • RIP Mr.Ledger

    we knew ye well

  • another actor taken from us on the cusp of greatness

    R.I.P Heath

  • i know its very sad.

  • yeah, it's pretty dang sad.......

  • Haeth Ledger just died

  • RIP

    very sad.

  • ben wallace should have been the next joker....

  • dood haha dont call out cesar hell always be a great joker in the 60s

  • Caesar Romero! get tha F**K outta here.

  • i cant wait to see this movie.

  • totaly this joker will be far better plus it'll be more like the joker from the comics rather then the one made for the childrens show

  • no offense jack.. but i think heath's joker will be better than the old one..

  • Don't forget Caesar Romero. Not a bad joker himself all things considered.

  • "See to them, you're just a freak...

    Like me!" =D

    Nice line! hahahaha!

  • oigan pero no se les hace que el guason (joker ) esta como miy viejito a y su cara esta mal pintantada y acuerdense que en el comic el maquillaje dell guason es enrealidad su cara

  • bat car, bat jet, bat cawe, bat motorcycle, bat spray, am i missing something?

  • Does anyone kno in the comic books if the joker challenge batman to hit him with a vehicle cuz this is the 2nd time i've seen the seen that (1989 the bat jet and the new one but instead the batpod). Im just curious. This movie will make tim burton's batman look like a barney version lol

  • does anyone know where to watch the longer trailer when i went to see i am legend?

  • When i saw i am legend yesterday it was this same exact trailer......

  • you have to see i am legend in imax to view the first 6 min of the dark knight.

  • Ever since ledger's role in Lords of Dogtown, i have respected him as an actore and he will rock this role

  • "I shake the skull with eyes that gleam.

I make my marks, I laugh & scream! My army strengthens day by day... You play my game, I'll make you pay! All red and Black must bow to green to green.. For I alone shall rule supreme!"

    - The Joker -

  • This movie will kick ass just as the first did.

Fuck anyone that says other wise.

    That is all.

  • I'm actually quite disappointed with this new take on the Joker. This is just a killer with some lipstick on. I enjoyed watching the deformed, insane joker who always saw humor in every crime he committed and who's goal in life was to make Gotham city die with a smile.

  • Are you gonna repost the same comment on every video thread. We get it, you're disappointed. Dont go and see it then, but I certainly will.

  • this new joker will surely kick ass!!! FYI, Nolan based his joker from a comic book, Batman: The Killing Joke.

lets see who's gonna laugh last! ahahahaha!

  • well not completely, cuz the Joker in "the Killing Joke" has bleached face, not a makeup. Chris Nolan only made Heath Ledger read the book.

  • That´s because Nolan´s adaptation is more realistic. Do you know an acid that can bleach your skin, turn you hair green and put a smile on your face? I dont think so...

  • uh....LSD?

  • lol

  • As far as this Joker goes I'm not sure how great the comedy will be, but I'm betting their going to focus more on the killing and less on what makes the Joker (a Joke).

  • I'd say that the Nicholson Joker was great because they really captured the comedy of Joker. Although the Joker is a psycho killer and everyone who disagrees that the Nicholson Joker was good, mostly feels that they just didn't fear a murderer as much as they should have. Its hard to be afraid of the Joker that Nicholson played, but then again its hard to be afraid of anything that makes you laugh.

  • this joker is muuuchh better

  • I'm sure you guys saw Spiderman 3 right? The trailer made the movie look phenomenal but really the movie was not even that good. I have a bad feeling that might happen with this movie. Or it might kick some ass

  • i disagree, with christopher nolan at the wheel of dark knight i can't imagine it would be bad, i mean sure the critics might hate it with a passion like they did with the first one, but it's the fans that matter, their opnion is whats truly heard by the film companies.

    this movie will kick ass!

  • I thought the critics liked Batman Begins.

  • eh they were kind of back and fourth, you see chris nolean made some really interesting movies in the past with really creative camera tricks but when BB came out they weren't clever enough to win over some of the critics although it doesn't matter its the fans that count!

  • True that.

  • its gunna b amazing

  • comes out on my 17th birthday!!!

Going to be the best movie/birhtday ever!!!!!

  • lol lucky!!

  • The Best! Love Batman! Can't wait to see it...

    Kisses!

  • who are you a bigger fan of

    the joker or batman

  • I honestly don't know.

  • Batman.

    The classic one.

    Not this one.

  • this movie is gonna be badass. i dont think its gonna be better then the tim burton. its just another part of the batman saga

  • its a different movie than the tim burton movie. it doesn't have to be better. the burton movie was awesome and this one looks awesome

  • you are shite

  • wow, i didn't think anyone would be btter at Joker than jack nicholson,.. but this looks bad ass

  • oh my goodness!!!!!!!1 that looks amazing!!! it doesn't look like heath ledger!!!!

  • A little fight in ya, I like that...

    Then you're gonna love me...

    That sounds totally BAMF

  • nice i cant wait lol

  • Heath ledger is perfect as the joker! He's already proving people/doubters wrong.Nolan always get's it right in casting the right man..Bale,the brilliant Mr Caine,Oldman, Freeman,Neeson and now Ledger.Also.. will people stop comparing the Joker with the Crow. When I first watched the crow I thought he looked and reminded me of the darker version of joker that was portrayed in the comics. They copied and hijacked the comic version of the joker! Nolan has reclaimed The Joker!! HAHa!

  • this looks like an R rated film

  • this movie is going to make so much money........

  • think it'll beat tim burton's 1989 classic

  • probably, i mean the first trailer on youtube got 800,000 views in 3 days so that says alot.....

  • Heath's Joker is definitely based more on Freank Miller's version of the Joker.

  • Looks like this Joker is going to be great. We still have to see if Heath Ledger will be able to hold a candle to Jack Nicholson's Joker. I can already tell that this will be the film of 2008. I wonder when we're going to see footage of Scarcrow in this and Two Face.

  • We should see two face, dunno about scarecrow. Im glad that the jokers different, this is supposed to be a new version of it. And i don't think you could really hold Nicholsons performance to Ledgers, seeing how different the roles are. Perma-grin joker, self cutting psychotic joker =/

  • This version of the Joker is meant to give you the creeps more than make you laugh and weird you out. Also, Christopher Nolan did confirm a while back that Cillian Murphy will be returning as Scarecrow.

  • I heard that, too.

But I hope Scarecrow is a little more like the comic book Scarecrow: comic book Scarecrow had no problem in going hand-to-hand against Batman if the situation called for it.
