Well it is not only about watching a splatter. It is about watching the return of a cinema legend. Rambo, Indiana Jones, James Bond...an others. That is them. They still exist in our memories and in our imaginations. And this movie had to bring him back the right way.

First Blood was the worst one. With the exception of the officer falling out of the chopper, Rambo didn't even kill anyone in the whole movie. It's not untill part 2 that his skill emerges in terms of the bow and arrow, etc.

Ok genius, I understand that, however lets look at the context, is this a documentary? No, it's a movie made for entertainment. I don't need to see people getting their heads cut off and children being murdered, and women being raped to get the point. If you can stomach this movie you have been totally desensitized, and to go farther and enjoy it is truly sick!

I dont think this film will be as good as the other three. Just like the last Rocky film, I think this is more cheaply made. And lets face is Stallone doesn't nor has ever had great acting skills. This reminds me of 'Get Carter' he made. Cheap budget poor acting. Trying to milk it till the end isnt he!
If you look at his films over the last 10 yrs the guy hasn't made a good film. Now he's going back to the past and making basically 're-runs'. Rocky Balboa, now Rambo, and in 2009 'Deathwish'. And he's 60 yrs old taking on roles as a boxer and a war soldier? wtf... lets get George Foreman out of retirement while were at it too.

Phuk CGI this is what it's all about. And this is the first rambo film that is worth the watch (first blood was AWESOME though). I'm SOOO glad he is involved in production, not a cleaned up hollywood war or some gizmo dancing around impossible bs with tons of choreography nope straight brutal kills....honesty is beautiful.
Yeah . . I'm all for real make up and non CGI. Maybe this will start a trend back towards real movie making and none of that kop out lazy CGI crap that looks too cartoony.

The only generalized MOS for a "grunt" is 03....with his specialty being the last two numbers. All 03's are "grunts". Where did you go to SOI? Give me the location, company, and the name of the NCO club to verify.

I was an 0352 in Scout Reconnaissance Platoon, 2d Tank BN, 2d MARDIV (same thing as LAR Scouts, just with Tanks) for OIF I and OIF II-2. I'm not too worried about that violating any OPSEC, as its not exactly high-speed.... Wow!... An internet fight resolved peacefully! haha Later

I dont think this film will be as good as the other three. Just like the last Rocky film, I think this is more cheaply made. And lets face is Stallone doesn't nor has ever had great acting skills. This reminds me of 'Get Carter' he made. Cheap budget poor acting. Trying to milk it till the end isnt he!

If you look at his films over the last 10 yrs the guy hasn't made a good film. Now he's going back to the past and making basically 're-runs'. Rocky Balboa, now Rambo, and in 2009 'Deathwish'. And he's 60 yrs old taking on roles as a boxer and a war soldier? wtf... lets get George Foreman out of retirement while were at it too.

on the post presentation of rambo in france, they say that people applause at the end of the movie:

the last rocky balboa was excellent. but the second part is the best of the saga for me. With rambo... well for me firstblood is the best,but very near of Rambo 2nd(the action scenes in the jungle rocks!!!),the 3th pffffff... was very simple and fantastic(the crash between the T-72 tank and the false Mi-35 helo).and my last words are: Stallone is the last action hero alive.(Bruce see dead people,and Arnold is busy making the judgedment day in california,seagal i miss you!!!)

Could've died if it wasnt for a man carrying him miles, he received the purple heart. If he never made it back, I'd never be alive. Got to be thankful for soldiers today, willing to risk their lives for others. Not many ppl like that today.

Phuk CGI this is what it's all about. And this is the first rambo film that is worth the watch (first blood was AWESOME though). I'm SOOO glad he is involved in production, not a cleaned up hollywood war or some gizmo dancing around impossible bs with tons of choreography nope straight brutal kills....honesty is beautiful.
