Every so often, I find myself hearing Applejack's yelling "BRAEBURN!" from this song. It's like a seed planted deep into my mind that never goes away.

Also, it seems to me that the original song sounds a bit different than this. But it's probably just because these samples sound different than the instruments in the original. Is it just me or does the original sound off-key sometimes, and this one sounds correct?

@flowerzinc Thanks! I get more compliments for this than my others from people I know involved in other artforms, but hearing it from a YTPMVer I respect is more valid to me.

Pitching in Vegas is by half notes. If -12, 0, and 12 are 3 octaves of say C, then 4 is E, 7 is G, 0+4+7 is a major chord/triad, and 0+3+7 is a minor. If you only have the first 2 notes (0+3 or 0+4), you could add a note below it and change the maj/min triad, which can also do the same, but then it's a 7th.

Indie (be it a genre or not) usually conjures images of skinny art schoolers playing slow minimal 2 chord emo balads with droning off-key vocals. I think the word I was really looking for was .. esoteric.XD I still feel "progressive" fits most of their work, but I'm no music geek.
