I loved The Spirit. I thought it accomplished everything it set out to do by being campy, cliche, stylish, noir, classic, comic book with completely intentional hilarity. It was not supposed to be taken as seriously as Sin City. There's just no way. Can't believe I put off watching it because people told me it sucked. :(

i really like the visuals that frank miller does in his movies but the spirit kinda died in interest towards the end

it's not bad, but not super-interesting aswell. i think, i will not be able to remember which movie i saw one week ago on the next weekend already.

Sorry man, I like the genre and Frank Miller's work but this movie was shallow and boring. Rodriguez's Sin City 2 should be good though.
