There have been many studies conducted that have proven Atheists all over the world have a higher IQ than those who consider themselves religious. Again, because Atheiests tend to be more academic than religious people and therefore are more open to thought and reason. One question, when was slavery abolished in this country? When were woman given the right to vote? Yes, that's right, that happened long after the constitution was drafted. It is very hard for an atheist to open up and say whom they truly are. It leads to loneliness especially in the dating game. It is even worse when it comes to admitting this to your family. I really dont like the footage they threw in of the debate. I saw the actual debate and Steven A Smith in this is made to look like he opposes atheists. If you actually watch it he is defending atheists the entire time. He says he does not agree with us but defends our right to express our opinions and our objections. If it's only a belief in the supernatural without any proof (i.e. faith) then yes I don't think that's a particularly smart position to take, or to expect others to truly respect either. One question, when was slavery abolished in this country? When were woman given the right to vote? Yes, that's right, that happened long after the constitution was drafted. If Christians claim that this country was founded on their values, they have a lot to explain. Oh, that's right, their holy book does not condemn slavery nor the subjugation of women. If it's only a belief in the supernatural without any proof (i.e. faith) then yes I don't think that's a particularly smart position to take, or to expect others to truly respect either. Everything else is simply tradition, and you don't need to believe in the supernatural to uphold traditions.

Personally I don't believe Christianity is evil necessarily, but neither do I think it's a force for good. Christianity claims to bring morality to people, yet many Christians commit immoral acts (morality as defined by society). I just feel that it is a failed philosophy and therefore it's a waste of time devoting energy towards it.

@ResidentEvilSpore also when somebody says fsm they have no idea what i believe. for example if i were to talk to about evolution im not going to say you believe that a meatball exploded. i would say dinosaurs didn't evolve into birds. they would have to master flight, change their structure, ect. or big bang if the rate of expansion was different the universe would collapse. if hydrogen was heavier or lighter then other elemets couldn't have formed so the big bang is impossible. stuff like that

@ResidentEvilSpore christians aren't much different than atheists we just believe in different things. i believe in God because i've heard many stories of miracles, demons. i have felt jesus come into my life. the bible is full of prophecy. intelligent design. the human brain is extremely complex so is the eye. the relations ship in nature. ie bees and flowers. things that prove the flood. the deserts are only 4500 yrs old. thats when the flood happened. dna is way to complex to evolve.

Penguins we have today did not simply adapt to cold, they did not exist at same time as fake noah . Penguins evolved, it is a proven fact, the same penguins here today did not exist, they are evolved forms of earlier penguins. A 3 kilometre long ice core retrieved from Antarctica contains snow fall from the last 740,000 years. This was with 100 metres left which would reveal 900,000.

Penguins evolved from earlier types of penguins (Spheniscinae) these earlier forms do not exist today. Probably from the Palaeeudyptinae family. What kind of dating method? I am not a scientist, look up the article on national geographic, good luck disproving scientific laws.
