  • What is that you can hear firing at 1:15? Sounds like a VERY nicely suppressed MP5 or Mac.

  • @1lovesoni ... Suppressed .22 of some sort.

  • Did you know that they actually used that cooling water dripping down out to make tea?

It already reaches the boiling point after only a few dozen bullets.

    And that's simply awesome!

  • @Atvishees

However, the water would have been tainted with oil from the barrel and the asbestos packing string. So that myth is absolute bullshit.

Go check it for yourself, and everyone else that believes it

  • Cool video but that's a Vickers, not a Maxim. The Vickers is a British spin-off design from the Maxim gun.

  • @C2builder ... How do you tell the difference? LOL.

  • @TexasGunTalk The Maxims (Russian 1910, German MG-08, Chinese, etc.) all have a one piece top cover. The Vickers has a two piece top cover, one cover for the feed block and the other for the lock/internals. If you want to see one of each check out my vids that feature both types.

  • @C2builder ... I see, I see ... I read that they have a slimmer receiver also since they flipped a mechanism to lighten the gun.

  • @TexasGunTalk Correct. The "knee-break" action of the handle crank breaks upward instead of downward thus enabling the reciever box to be shortened (height wise). This also allowed the lock itself to be made shorter to save even more space and weight. I prefer the Vickers over the Maxims in all ways....except the high price of .303 ammo :)

  • God bless Texas and the USA.
