  • A delightful cat! Well done.

  • WOW! He is amazing!

  • wow..cool cat!

  • You should make a mini series about your cat! And you could voice him

  • Omg that's so cool

  • What a gorgeous animal :)

  • Such a pretty cat.

  • It's a freaking mini tiger!

  • What en exceptionally beautiful cat. Love the tricks!

  • i love ur cat <3

  • Love Kaiser and your videos, I've been watching them them closely in order to train my cat. I don't have a clicker though.

What I wanted to ask you: does Kaiser respond to voice commands, gestures, or both?

I'm asking because although I was able to teach 3 tricks in the last few weeks to my cat (give right, then left paw; stand up; spin), he only responds to the gestures I make and not the word.

  • @Yunituber Kaiser responds to both verbal cues and hand gestures.

Animals often respond better to hand signals at first when they learn a new trick. To teach your cat the verbal cue, say the word that you would like to use for the trick as you give him the hand gesture, and reward him with plenty of praise and treats when he performs the trick. Cats are very intelligent; he will catch on.

  • @NanaBorderCollie Thank you very much for such a quick reply!

I'll follow your advice. Truth is my cat learns new tricks very quickly, and although I've been trying to reinforce them (because it's all very new for him) sometimes I do forget the verbal cue, since he responds to gestures. I'll keep the verbal cues in mind!

Kaiser is a true inspiration, please pet him and give him a treat for me. :)

  • is this a bengal or a toyger?

  • awww dats cute

  • I would love to hear about how you get him to perform these behaviors the first time. I don't really know much about training animals, but I've taught my kitty a couple simple tricks like "up" and "round and round" (what Kaiser calls "spin"), but initially these tricks have to involve me using a treat to bait him him (holding it over his head or spinning it around him) until he does it a few times. I'm not sure how I could communicate "stay" to him.

  • Ooh! wow you are a genius! :)

  • Love it soooooo much

  • the last two seconds were precious

  • Thank you for allowing me to experience this wonderful part of your life!

    ;-)

  • You earned youself a subscriber like and faveroute. =]

  • What treats do you use? My cats will not do anything for their normal food, because I guess it's boring since they eat it every day, and I can only give them three treats a day so its not very effective for training. I've tried breaking them into pieces but then my cats won't eat them for some reason. So if you know any inexpensive treats that aren't bad if you give them to many, can you please tell me?? Thank you!!

  • @redvines1010 I use many different rewards when teaching Kaiser, including chicken, ham, pepperoni, steak, and cheese. Use only the most rewarding foods when teaching your cat.

  • Omg so cute! When you told him "speak" I just bout died. XD

  • 12 dogs doesn't likes this video

  • That's how you train the feline in your life. I find this is a good thing to do as this may also strengthen their bond with their owner and be a healthy workout as long there aren't to many treats involved. I approve.

  • wow thats really cool! hes so smart!

  • My cat can do some tricks. Although do you have any tips for teaching "down"? He refuses to do that and he is highly trainable considering he is a cat :P Maybe be he can be somewhat as smart as Kaiser! (probably not) Keep up the tricks!

  • Ah! I LOVE Bengals! This is amazing. How much longer did it take for your cat to learn these tricks as opposed to your dog? Maybe I might try to clicker train my kitten!

    Favorited this!

  • are bengal cats smarter than normal domestic cats? I always hear people say cats are practically untrainable

  • @jeannette84xx Bengals typically have more energy than other cats, and usually have longer attention spans. This does make them easier to teach; however, any cat can learn the tricks shown in this video, given that they are taught only with positive reinforcement.

  • The cat is smarter then me:(

  • So freaked adorable. What a cutie.

  • the cat says : i'll do anything!! just lest me eat that!!

  • OMG so amazing..congratulations for your patience..and your wonderful cat..

  • What a BEAUTIFUL CAT!!! I mean look at his belly hes so bright and colorful!!!

  • Totally amazing!!! :D

  • This proves you use positive method training because you could not train a cat if you tried to force him to do something. This is AWESOME!!!

  • WOW! I thought I was doing ok getting a touch and sit cue for my cat! haha. I've worked with bengals with clicker training too. It was really fun! Wonderful video, I'll definitely refer back to it for cat trick ideas and showing others how trainable cats are with clicker training! Thanks for sharing your cat's talents with the world!

  • its a bengal YAY

  • hey whats the name of the book you are using? i have been wanting a bengal cat for a long time and after this video I WANT ONE EVEN MORE!

  • Trained a cat I had before clickers became popular. It is hard trying to be consequent enough, and this seems sooo much easier to just get the reinforcement exactly right. Next cat I get will definitively get clicker trained...

  • Wow, that's amazing! Beautiful cat btw =]

  • omg im in love with that cat ^.^

  • He is really talented, he even like water

  • @NanaBorderCollie

I have not even seen your face. But YOU are my favorite trainer.

  • You're an amazing cat trainer and Kaiser is a very talented and beautiful cat! Greatly enjoyed your video. Bravo!

  • Amazing! And a beautiful looking cat as well!!

  • see, who said cats cant be smart and do tricks like dogs?! what a cutie!

  • smarter than my border collie o.o lol ur cat is SOO SMART!!

  • o my gosh....... my cats would not listen to me, they would go eat or sleep... i love them thoe. i think that cat was a dog in his past life

  • Thanks for giving me some more ideas for my two cats. You can see their current tricks by searching for Kitty Tricks 1 and Kitty Tricks 2.

  • 7 people died from the amazment of this cat and when they fell they accidently hit the dislike button :O

  • I like the end lol

  • I really like the emotion behind the trainers voice when she says "good boy" she seems genuinely proud of the cat's actions.

  • wow, absolutley amazing :D

  • Pretty cool

  • good boy!! haha!!

  • awww baby!

    so smart so beautiful!

  • Great job!

  • When he says: Meooooooooow... I've say! OMG! That was so CUTEEEE!!!!!!!!!! <3<3

  • He is a good boy. And you are a great trainer. Clicker training brings out the very best.

  • Smart kitty.

If I asked my cat to do any of these tricks he'd just give me the "shuddep and gimme some food" look

  • i was just wondering what is a clicker? you mentioned it in some other comment i read. I have a new kitten(well hes not that little) and i want to train him. also your cat is soo smart! and cute!

  • @13Icegirl A clicker is a small, plastic hand-held device that makes a sharp clicking sound when its metal tongue is pressed down (as heard in this video). The sound serves as a marker when training, meaning "That is correct; a reward is coming". An advantage to using a clicker rather than your voice (some trainers use the word "yes" instead) is that it produces the exact same noise each time. Animals usually catch on quickly, and soon enjoy trying to figure out how to make the "clicking" sound.

  • @NanaBorderCollie ooook thnx :3

  • i love bengals so much.

  • what brand of clicker did you use?

  • @lillykim17 I use a few different types of clickers when training Kai. Although I do most of his training with the use of the iClick, in this video I am using a Whistle Clicker. All of my clickers are from The Clicker Company.

  • Your cat is amazingly clever, and you must be very very patient, well done for your training, with Nana AND with the cat !! Keep impressing us :)

  • i know exactly what that cat is thinking. can i not do tricks and you just put the treats in my mouth? lol

  • that has to be one of the cutest cats i have ever seen

  • I love Kaiser. He is so gorgeous, he is the one who inspired my love for Bengals. The work you two have done together is too amazing....awesome job Kai, keep learning!

  • Such a cute looking cat.

  • #WIN

  • truely amazing!

  • very cccccccuuuuuuuuuuuuute

  • Why hasnt this video gone viral yet!?!? its jaw dropping!

  • turn off the camera, --good boy. haha. love the last part. :)

  • Wow!

  • amazing !

  • Wow! He's so smart and you're an amazing trainer! :)

    ~Spot♫

  • woah u must be a amazing trainer to train a cat

  • What a beautiful animal.

  • Hey i was wondering if your techniques will be effective a cub (BOBCAT)?

  • @puertoricanboy100 Absolutely. Clicker training works very well with any animal of any age. In fact, most big cat trainers who train wild cats for film or circuses use clicker training, since it is very gentle and animals respond extremely well to it. One of the purposes of this video is to demonstrate that clicker training is the best way of training animals, and that even animals that are considered "untrainable", such as cats, respond well to it.

  • @NanaBorderCollie Ok i work for a The Science Park of Puerto Rico and iam a assistan to a trainer that passed away sadly they left a puma(cub) and i was i asked if i could take it home the thing is i dont know how to trains to baby cubs soo yeah hopefully your clicker works to teach them both

  • Good Boy!!

  • You must be the most amazing trainer ever! Your cat is smarter than my dog...(owners fault) haha, Is he an indoor cat? I've heard most bengal cats are not let outside because people try to steal them..? You should do some tutorials! :)

  • @TheMissChloe98 Thank you! :)

Yes, Kaiser is an indoor cat, although I will occasionally take him outside with me to do tricks or just to let him enjoy the fresh air. Keeping any cat outdoors is not safe for the reason you mentioned, and also since it increases the chances of them getting fleas, worms, ticks, etc., and the possibility of them getting hit by a car. Keeping cats indoors is safer, and it stengthens the bond between the owner and cat.

Cat training tutorials are on the way. :)

  • aww, he has a tiger like fur ♥ the water one must of taken ages!!!!!!

  • wow your amazing at training cats

  • 4 people are not as smart as this cat :)

  • Hahah

  • This just reminds me of how much I need a clicker for my kitty. Good job on training. You seem very enthusiastic and consistent. :)

  • That was fantastic, I can't wait to see the tutorial, Kaiser is a very beautiful cat and clearly very very smart! You've done an excellent job, keep the fantastic videos coming! :)

  • w0w you cat is very very very smart

  • I LOVED THE END <3

  • Wow! This cat is the smartest cat on the planet!! He's much smarter than most dogs. =o)

  • "GOOOOD BOOOIIIIIIII" xD it was indeed a good boy :)

  • You don't train your boyfriend like that, do you?

    CLICK! Good boy!

    Just kidding. ;)

That's amazing. I didn't think cats could be trained; that must have taken incredible patience.

  • your cat is not only gorgeous but amazing....cats can do anything with the right training and tons of love....great job!

  • lol that cat will do anything for those treats

  • Oh, my gosh your cat is so incredibly clever.

    Well done with training him.

My cat Kyou can sit and "tap" things on command (we're also working on a "beg" at the moment) -- But Kaiser really puts him to shame. xD

  • I love Kai! He is the smartest cat I have ever seen! :)

  • Hail Kaiser!

  • Now you can add a camera and a earphone to your cat and control it remotely !

  • hes so cute

  • My cats best trick is to drink water out of the humidifier.

  • i have both a siamese (3 years) and a bengal (9 years) and they are two of the most intelligent cats ever

  • im definitely a caaaaaaaaatttttttttttttttttttttttt ppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrson!

they r known as the most beautiful + graceful animals on eeaaaaaarrrrrrtttttttttthhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm a dog person, so I know nothing about cats. My whole life I thought cats weren't obedient. This video proved me wrong, this cat seems really dog-like to me. I like him!

  • thats cat is amzing

  • incredible! i am absolutely amazed! congrats for the training! :D

  • thanks! I needed som' ideas! Talented cat, talented trainer ;)

  • MsAlign1

Smartest cat in the world 10

  • I want one. I had a cat that played the harp, but that was long before youtube...

  • This video is amazing, it would be very cool if you could make cat training tutorials

  • @TheRabbitgrace It seems like I am going to have to make cat training tutorials, since I have been asked to do so by several people.

  • 're a great! ;)

  • Kaiser should have been on Cats 101. They even said Balinese where smarter,uh..no.Kaiser knows much more than the Bengals that where shown on that Cats 101 episode!!

  • now that's what i call a cool cat! I'm still not so sure Kaiser is a cat:)

  • I did the same with my cat back then. Sadly he died 6 years ago. But it's cool to see that others learn their cats some tricks, too =)

Too many people think cat's are untrainable. But that's just because nobody tries!

  • Very very amazing trainer behind that very talented cat :)

  • I am in awe! You are a phenomenal trainer. . . perhaps if I moved closer to you, I'd be smarter too?

  • I have just one word :AWESOME! And WOW WOW WOW!

  • Awesome! That is one smart cat. I didn't know you could train a cat so many tricks (or any actually). I just taught my dog the "spread em" trick a couple weeks ago! Too funny!

  • really amazing !!! :D

  • OMG!!! He is sooo cute :D I love bengals, they look so wild :D Good work!

  • such a beautiful cat.

  • This is awesome.. great job. I would highly recommend auditioning him for movies.. :) Too cool!

  • very nice

  • Wow that was amazing! Your going to have to take this show on the road=)

  • Cats are very intelligent animals. My cat loves to fetch small paperballs and bring it back.

  • @NanaBorderCollie americans got talent i mean lol

  • this cats a true jeniouse are you sure shes not a dog lmao! why dont you go on brt with your dog and ct i cant understnad ppl have some of the most amazing animals yet they dont show ppl !? LOL

  • my cat will only eat out off a bowl and will not take anything from my hand including chicken

  • I really thought my cat was smart and knew a lot of tricks (for a cat) but wow your Kaiser will beat her any time!

I hope you have many more years with him!

    Greetings from Belgium

  • Just remarkable!

  • Kaiser did a great job!

  • This is simply fantastic..you are an awesome trainer:)) my sister in law breeds these cats and i knew they were very dog like, intelligent & VERY food motivated...but wow what you have trained your cat to do is amazing. I know what i should have asked for for my 40th birth pres now!! Do you ever do any tutorials on how you train some of these tricks to your cat..would be interesting to see the steps???

  • @MultiAnimalcrackers Thank you. :) Kai is incredibly food-motivated.

Perhaps I might make cat training tutorials, if people really want me to.

  • This was absolutely amazing!! I am in awe. I have never seen a cat do tricks like that before. You are a phenomenal trainer!!!! How quickly did Kai pick up clicker training compared to Nana? Is it a lot more difficult to train him? THIS VIDEO ROCKED!

  • @BBTricksters Thank you!

Kaiser learned the concept of clicker training about as fast as Nana did. And Kai is just as easy to train as the dog.

  • @NanaBorderCollie Is she as easy to train as a dog because of the breed?

  • @Anonpeace Partially. Bengals are an incredibly smart breed of cat and are often referred to as the "Border Collie of the cat world", due to their high intelligence and energy. They rank #1 as the smartest breed of cat (followed by the Abyssinian and the Savannah), being unmatched of their loyalty, alertness, and their natural interest in everything their owners do. That said, any cat can learn to do the tricks shown in this video, given that they are only trained with positive reinforcement.

  • Awesome! Kaiser is absolutely gorgeous and so talented!

One question, what do you use for treats? I have used cat treats, chicken, turkey, and other lunchmeats with my cat, but he takes forever to eat it. I've tried using can cat food and tuna, but I am not coordinated enough for that ;)

  • @Dashin92 I use a variety of different foods as rewards for Kai's training - anything from cat food to meat loaf. If you give the cat his rewards in smaller pieces, he can eat it faster.

  • That's pretty amazing! Hopefully he gets an acting job soon!

  • Great job! Happy birthday Kaiser!

  • Amazing...Kaiser is so smart. Happy 1st Birthday Kaiser.

  • omg, brilliant...very inspiring...off to train cats now.... :)

    Happy clicking.

  • Happy Birthday Kaiser! He's the most intelligent cat I've ever seen and you are a great trainer. Congratulations!!

  • Happy Happy Birthday Kaiser! He truly is the world's smartest cat! I never ever thought I'd see a Cat fetch anything! You've done an amazing job with him :)

  • Not only talented, with a great trainer, of course, but GORGEOUS!

  • How cool! Makes me want to get a cat to clicker train! Incredible kitty you have!

  • AMAZING!!!!! all I can say is wow.

  • Happy birthday!

  • What an amazing cat! My jaw was literally dropped the entire time! It's breath taking! I can't believe it! You're doing an EXCELLENT job, seriously! Ah, man, I'm at a loss for words! That's crazy! Defiantly watching for more, and sending this to my friends!

  • Amazing tricks! ;;

how long did it take for Kaiser to learn all that?

  • @CrazyPup19 Kaiser has been learning tricks ever since I got him at twelve weeks of age, and he is now one year old today.

  • Happy 1st Birthday Kaiser:)! You are an amazing cat:)!

You have done incredible work with Kaiser:)! He is truly the coolest cat I have ever seen! He knows multiple complext tricks AND he likes water!

    Kaiser is simply amazing:)!
