@vh2vh Pnoenetically, it's "Fstavaite Lude Russkia" and it means basically "Arise Russian People"

The Russian Nikolai sings at the end is "Eto Moyo Pocolonia" and it is Russian for "This is My Generation" . Hope that helps.

Hi EricS. We highly recommend that you buy their album. Most every song on it is really great. (and gives credit to the band).

My Generation, Bang, Peace in our time, Sometimes at night, Try to find me, ... all amazing songs. All in English, but a few (like this one) have a word or a sentence in Russian- the liner notes (cd booklet) says what they mean. :)

@mariby88 very underrated, they had a hot drummer and a fantastic sound and song´s to remember. I remember TRy to find me, for all my life because i danced with my first highschool sweetheart to that song.

@Louisefalk78 well they were immensely popular at home. Their lead singer Nikolay Noskov and bassist Alexander Marshal have made good solo careers. Listen to this ballad. It's in Russian, but music is universal)

@misstenebrae Neither can I, that's why I'm SOOOO grateful for You Tube!! The Cyrilliac spelling of Nikolai's name is Николай Носков . Try copy & pasting that & you will find so much more of him here. He is still recording. This was his only album with Gorky Park, but has had a long & successful solo career.

in one of the interviews the band's singer Nickolai Noskov said that was because of bad management. they had a great start but lost the impetus afterwards...they could've been a much more popular band with proper management.

I think it's better than the Whos' version too but then I'm not from the who era though I'm almost that old. Its a preference in styles and personal taste not a hard fact though. The who were some of the most skilled artists ever.
