Yea nomore joker in my opinion for nolans films at least. I would like to see joker again in a different batman film directed by a different director. Ledger's depiction of the Joker is quite possibly the first time anyone's ever really done it RIGHT. Most people think of the Joker as a "funny" crazy guy with a dark edge to him. But the Joker, as envisioned by Alan Moore or Michael Green or Ed Brubaker, isn't funny. He's simply *evil*, utterly insane, and completely irrational. Nicholson came close to getting it right- but he was still trying to be "funny". Ledger's portrayal, at least right now, looks spot on.
Yeah I agree with you too. In my opinion, there are three different versions of the Joker. The first one being the petty but harmless eccentric thief as depicted through the old batman series. Another version of the Joker would be Nicholson's character, a flamboyant, manipulative murderer with an old school sense of humor. And then their is the version of the Joker Heath is playing. Nolan has shown the very human side of the character. When I first saw Batman Begins I felt deeply impressed by all the values and strong feelings that the movie conveys. Nowadays we do need movies like this.

Keaton was good,but his Batman didn't really get to do much.He was the least interesting character when compared to the Joker and Catwoman.Keaton's Batman didn't seem as intense as Bale's.Bale's Batman feels more like the graphic novels.

I agree with both of you. Batman Begins was a great movie and I thought Bale did a great job as Bruce Wayne/Batman. On the other hand, the original Batman done by Tim Burton with Micheal Keaton was also a great movie, as for which one was better, I am not sure on that one, it's too close to tell for me.

the rumours about his role of the joker disturbing him are complete rubbish. Christian Bale even said himself that Heath could turn the Joker role on and off easily. I think it simply was an accidental overdose. RIP. Can't wait for his Joker to go down in history. Been voted the best villian ever, and it's not even out yet!!

well people say u cant say heath is better than jack becuz its not released yet. but as we see in the trailers heath brings out a beast and jack did great but the quality of the story telling and actual script is far superior than burtons. i mean burton didnt tell any story at all. u can tell just by the trailer that this movie is bringing something more valuable. to be honest heaths scenes in the trailers itself kinda makes jacks entire role as the joker look inferior. even tho jacks was nice!

toxickness, you dont know shit about Batman! Burton did an ok job, but Nolan is way better. Burton never developed Batman/Bruce Wayne at all!! He just threw him in there to battle the villains. Nolan showed Bruce's training etc etc. Bale is better than Keaton too. Keaton was not Batman physically to short to play the part. Bale plays both Batman and Bruce Wayne perfectly. Batman Begins > Tim Burton's Batman

Nolan has shown the very human side of the character. When I first saw Batman Begins I felt deeply impressed by all the values and strong feelings that the movie conveys. Nowadays we do need movies like this.
It is one of my favourite movies...I can't wait to see the Dark Night!

Well Ive seen plenty of clips and am a huge batman fan and said no one could take the place of Keaton and Nicholon. Then when I found out Bale was the new Batman I knew from American psycho that hands down he would beat out Keaton. So its not idiotic.

Keaton was good,but his Batman didn't really get to do much.He was the least interesting character when compared to the Joker and Catwoman.Keaton's Batman didn't seem as intense as Bale's.Bale's Batman feels more like the graphic novels.

I agree with both of you. Batman Begins was a great movie and I thought Bale did a great job as Bruce Wayne/Batman. On the other hand, the original Batman done by Tim Burton with Micheal Keaton was also a great movie, as for which one was better, I am not sure on that one, it's too close to tell for me.
