I just checked out Repent974's page, this dude is deep in his way of thinking. I see him as similar to the Jews who couldnt imagine Gentiles being saved without circumcision (Acts 10:45,11:1-18). thirdly, I know you compare rapping at a club to ministering at a strip club, but there are clear differences- mainly that the strip clup is primarily visual temptation (lust of the eye). Im sick of people calling unclean what God has made clean. You cant just call a certain style of music "worldly", what makes something worldly is when it promotes "the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life"(1John2:16). Worldliness is not in the way a drum is beat or a piano is played or the way a guitar is strung or the way lyrics are vocalized, bc you could use those same instraments to glorify God. You say Sevin is playing both sides of the fence, but i feel that he is making progress. He is reaching a group of people, a different group that most feel are not worth saving, by all means possible.
