A couple of weeks ago Iran threatened to close the Strait os Hormuz in response to increasing sanctions. We have the USS Stennis aircraft carrier fleet in the Gulf, and Britain is sending an aircraft carrier fleet. We are beginning military exercises with Israel. It is my guess that we aill be attacking Iran within 12-18 months.

Medicaid and medicare are two huge factors, on top of all of the other government handouts we have here. Our illegal population isn't helping so much with our social programs either since they don't pay into it but seem to benefit greatly from it.

Illegal immigrants do not have social security numbers, meaning they do not receive Welfare and many other social problems. Their impact is miniscule at about 1-3% of the population. U.S spends about 5% of GPA on military - compared with 2.7% of the British GPA. We can't afford it and need to cut.

So if a class has 15 illegals and 5 legal, remove the 15, and the costs would remain the same. Illegal adults also pay for college. @TheBomiheko I would need to look up the actual numbers in Germany - but i highly doubt their presence (couple of thousand soldiers) would do much if Germany (EU leader, Powerful country) decided to repeat the past (Which i personally think is more Paranoia than anything based in reality). From what i know the presence in Germany is for easier access to the Middle East. It's a strategic position. Much like the troops in Japan. The U.S mainland is quite isolated.
