ArrowofGod they kind of did smack the shit out of helms deep, they broke the gate, blew up the wall and killed most of the defenders. it wasn't because of a good guys always win thing that Rohan won, it was because Rohan got lucky with the arrival of it's cavalry to fend off the Uruks.

Sure there are Orcs who are brave but an Uruk would fight to the Death no matter if the Enemy is stronger or there are more of them. Where a Orc would run and call backup or simply run, an Uruk would stay and take as much Enemys, as possible with him. And as seen in the movie two towers, they are more dutiful than Orcs. And in the book LotR, they can run at sunlight what no Orc can. And an Uruk is 88,58 inch high.
